I love my Cuisinart!  Past experiences with other Cuisinart products I knew this oven/air fryer would be the best and again Cuisinart has held up to its name.  There are so many features and very easy to understand.  The dials are self explanatory and the instructions are all in one place easy to find.  Thank you again Cuisinart. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been so impressed with any other kitchen appliance. It works so fast and efficiently. I particularly love the air fryer function, which makes the food crispy and beautifully golden in a a few minutes. The sliced sausage needs only 2 or 3 minutes, for instance, It also works wonderfully on the baking and convection. My plum pie ws a beauty! I had a toaster oven that quit working, and a lot of my friends have air fryers, but did I really want more small appliances to store.  No...so after spending much time researching both....I found this amazing little oven!  Had my heart set on it for Christmas.  NOt to be.  The problem was it was a disgusting price in Canada... so on a quest I went.  Found it in a little shop in Havre, Montana at half the price!  Wahoo, even with our horrible dollar it was still a bargain.  I use it 2 to 3 times a week, and the air fry feature is amazing.  Use for pizza, chicken wings, french fries....anything you want crispy!  Best

When helping to decided whether I want to purchase I took some reviews into consideration and found that almost everyone complained about this product burning their food. I've come to find in my own experience owning both a toaster oven and fryer separately (wanting the kitchen space hence this purchase) that it's not a matter of it burning the food but people's misusage. It's powerful hence the quicker heat time of food in comparison to most so it's really just a matter of adjustment on the users part. compare it to a microwave where one can make your food almost burning hott in 30 secs and the other takes 2min to do so .

My better understanding

Following the recommended times and temps in the accompanying booklet has resulted in some incinerated food.  This device gets much hotter and requites much more watching than I expected.  Bacon recommendation of 400 degrees on airfry for 8 minutes set off the smoke alarm and produced something akin to charcoal.  It also has a hot spot in the left rear where food gets more burnt than the front.  I've also discovered that heating frozen french fries at the temp recommended on the package is way to hot as well.  I've had to reduce temp and shorten times and watch this thing like you were cooking on a frying pan.

Haven't gotten over the learning curve yet

Problems:
-Temperature varies between a few degrees below the setting if at 350 degrees or less to 25 degrees above the setting at 375 degrees or more.  
-Convection oven burns before cooking thoroughly.
-Air fryer produces dried-out, burned food even when cooked for less than recommended time.
-Distance between top shelf and heating elements is almost useless for anything but toasting.
-I wish that I had simply replaced my Oster toaster oven.

Bad choice

The main reason I purchased the Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven was that I saw an opportunity to replace some of my other appliances and condense into one. I had a great air fryer but it is big and difficult to store. Plus, this model was highly rated. Well, the toaster doesn't work properly, it dries the bread and only partially toasts the bread and that is only one slice at a time. Can't imagine toasting 6 slices! The air fryer works awful. Dried and burned the potato frys I was hoping to make. The small meal, a casserole did not cook properly. I don't know how to replace this appliance, I haven't had it less than six months, but VERY disappointed and wasted a lot of money. I value Cuisinart and I am surprised this appliance performed so poorly.

Maybe I got a Friday Model???

I bought this a month ago and am very unhappy. I have adjusted temperature properly and still am having issues with it burning food. I prepared crescent rolls for baking. The outside was crisp and the inside was cold and doughy. That's just one example of the many issues I've had. I'm currently waiting to hear back from the company.

Burns everything

I bought this brand because it's consistently a great one. But, this oven had something wrong with it....no matter what setting I put it on, the top heating coil would come on, as if I were setting it on broil. So, When I tried to bake something, it burned the top of it long before it was baked. Also the fan that came on when I tried to use the convection oven, stayed on when I tried to 
 use the regular bake setting. It just didn't work the way it was supposed to. I returned it.

I returned this toaster oven. It burned everything. I turned the time and temp down and it still burned everything. I bought an oven thermometer to check the temp. When I had the oven set to 350 degrees it actually heated to over 450 degrees. I read online where this had happened to many others who had bought this model.
