Very pleased with this model. I have a 2400 square foot home and there is no moisture on my windows. My previous humidity levels were around 55-63 at night now i set the unit at 45 percent and it keeps it there. Good product.

Unit works great.  Has a quiet mode.  Wi-Fi control is fantastic.  You can stop the unit when you go away and restart 24h before coming back to have the humidity you want and not the bucket full.

The dehumidifier does an excellent job of pulling humidity out of our large basement, but there's one significant flaw - while the unit does have WiFi, it doesn't send push notifications when the bucket is full.  And to be frank, that's the entire reason I selected this "smart" dehumidifier.  To see notifications, you have to open the app and check for them, which entirely defeats the purpose.  I'd really love to know if Frigidaire is planning to update their app to have push notifications.  If so, this would absolutely be a 5-star product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Humidifier seems to be working great in basement. Pulls out a lot of water and auto function seems to work well, adjusting the fan speed based on the measured humidity level and even turning off the fan completely when the level is low enough. I've been using the humidifier about a month in a fairly humid environment (started around 70% humidity) and now the dehumidifier keeps the basement at around 50%+\-5% on auto (confirmed with separate hygrometer). 

There is a bit more noise than I was expecting from this dehumidifier (granted this was the first I've owned). It sounds a bit like an old refrigerator, maybe a bit louder when on anything but the low setting. There is also some extra vibration that seems to come from the tank. And there is occasionally a fairly loud knocking sound when what I am assuming is the condenser turns off. 

The biggest disappointment so far for me though has been the WIFI/Smart app integration.  There were some challenges getting the device to connect to WIFI initially (after failing in the app multiple times I had to press and hold down the WIFI button until the device turned completely off (perhaps reset?) before it would finally connect in the app (this was not described in the instructions). The app does not send push notifications when the bucket is full, instead you have to manually go into the app to check to see whether or not the device is stopped because the bucket is full. Very disappointing on something that seems like a basic functionality of a smart/WIFI integrated device. There's no way of telling how close it's getting to be full either so without push notifications, I've found it just as easy to occasionally run to the basement and empty the device regardless of whether or not it is full. It also seems like it would be really easy to add some kind of schedule capability to the device (e.g. I want it to run at this level and setting between these hours only on these days of the week) but alas the only option available now is to delay the stop of the device, something I have not used. You can change the setting (auto, low, med, high) and turn it off and on via the app but it should be able to do so much more with the higher price tag on this device. I'm hoping to see some upgrades on the App eventually fixing some of the things listed above otherwise I'm not sure it's worth the extra money for a consumer to invest in the WIFI model.

Humidifier Works But Smart WIFI/APP Need Work

Adding Frigidaire to my long list of appliance brands I will never buy again.  Starting to run out of brands to choose from because they ALL make garbage appliances.

Will FAIL after ONE YEAR (just after warranty expires)

Worked well for the first year but completely failed just outside of the 1 year warranty with just over 13 months of use.

This dehumidifier was purchased because it consistently gets good reviews but I really expected it to last much longer.  This is one of the most expensive dehumidifiers of it's type/size but the service life is very poor.

Looks like I will be out of pocket for a new one and it won't be a Frigidaire.

Worked for less than 14 months...

This unit worked flawlessly for about 18 months then stopped working properly & wouldn't dehumidify any longer.  This was my third Frigidaire dehumidifier in the last 5 years & all of them quit working with the same problem.  I will not be purchasing another Frigidaire dehumidifier.

Works great until warranty expires

DO NOT PURCHASE! I purchased a unit that failed with an EC Code.  They replaced once and it failed again.  They won't replace again even though 3 different agents told me one was being sent.  They lied for 2 months.  Google EC Error Codes on this unit and you will see that they have a major issue with their de-humidifiers.
