I purchase this on 06/05/23 and return it on 06/17/23. Item arrived without the power cord, runs loud, very dusty , and doesn't read any of my ps2 games.

Waiting for a full refund

I was pleased to realize Wal-Mart.com sold other types of consoles besides the current and upcoming systems ; so, that gave me inspiration to replace my PlayStation 2 which I lost along time ago. Now that I have another PlayStation 2; I wish I can find a converter box so I can connect my PlayStation 2 to a modern TV. Most modern TV's only service HDMI.

It's great to have this system available to play older games.

It's not what I really want but something is better than nothing!

I got this for my son's birthday. He opened it, and already playing! He said this is his BEST birthday gift EVER!!!!

Best Birthday

Came very quickly, only a few days after ordering and was in nice condition. The Open Disc button is sticky and has to be pushed a few times sometimes in order to pop the disc tray but not really a big deal. Initially the system couldn't play some of my discs but it turns out those discs are simply too damaged to play. Other games have played just fine! The controller that came with it is in great condition as well. Much better than my old one that had sticky buttons and bite marks on it

However the system scratched one of my discs beyond repair! It was playing alright but got stuck on a loading screen and made odd clicking noises. I turned it off and removed the disc but it had really deep scratches that weren't there before. This never happened on my old system and I'm not really sure what happened. It's upsetting because PS2 games nowadays are so expensive?! Alas. Still happy to be able to play my other games though

Ah, the Nostalgia

Works great! There are a 2 small problems I have with it but thats a given then it cause down to a console that's over 20 years old.

The door for the disk was broken off and laying in the package. You could hear stuff  rattling around in the console. The console wad diry and not very clean. Would not recommend

Not worth it

My package never came im sitting here waiting looking stupid this never happened to before with any other companies or website this is crazy
