I needed a cage for a 5 pound dog in a hurry. I searched for hours for the right thing. I hate a cage and have never caged a dog.
With free delivery, I got the Regalo playard in time for my dog to come home from surgery. I set it up in 2 four piece sections, one for indoors and one for outdoors on the porch. The set up was easy and the instructions were clear. The indoor one can be easily moved from room to room by loosening the top knobs. I used the door on the inside one for ease in feeding and changing the bedding but the height is OK for me to reach in and lift the dog out without the door.

We have two small Chihuahuas and two large Bull Dogs - we purchased this to make a play area at one end of the living room. It's perfect and was very easy to install. It's longer than we need but we kept two sections folded up and this has worked extremely well. We also have a 2 yr old grandson and the gate kept him from the small dogs too.

I purchased this gate to use to keep my min pin off my carpet when she is home alone and at night. I knew this gate was going to be too large for the opening that I needed to for but I was looking to also use it in the future as a fireplace guard if I get any more grand babies. Plus I can take it camping and use it as a play yard if needed. It can also be taken apart to use as a smaller gate but I don't mind just leaving it folded on one end.

Great gate

We have two dogs that we love with all our hearts and wish to keep them safe. We live in a Mobile home park and have a fenced in front yard but our driveway is wide open. My husband spends lots of time in our shed that is on the driveway and these sweet little dogs love to be outside with him. He had to constantly be on guard making sure they would not dart out in the street and so we knew we had to address this problem. When we received the fence we put it clear across our driveway which is pretty wide and had no problem with it fitting. We attached the fence to a stake in the ground and it folds easily when we wish to leave in our car, we simply move it to the side of our driveway. The gate is also a wonderful plus in the fact that if you have a visitor they can simply open the gate and walk in. The fence is strong being made out of metal and we are very happy with this fence. We no longer have to worry our sweet babies will dart out into street. I highly recommend this fence.

We bought this fence for our daughter's home to keep her twin 14 month old sons safe from the fireplace. It can be attached to either the wall or the side of a fireplace to make it sturdy and strong. These two active boys try to hang on it and shake it but it doesn't give! It also can be used on some porches and with large stairways. There is a gate for adults to get through to load up the fireplace with wood easily. We don't know what her family would do without it. Great price too.

Keeps kids safe from the fireplace!

We have only had this gate a short while. We have used it to keep pets separated and have place of adopting a toddler soon, so it will be quite useful.

The original purpose of the gate was to surround our wood stove to keep little ones from touching the wood stove. We live in a smaller home, so there is not much room for accidents, especially the stove.

Finding a gate that would surround the stove and not cost an arm and leg, no pun intended, and still be quality and work well, was a bit of a challenge until we found this gate.

It is sturdy, quite large and very easy to set up, either permanently or temporary.

It is light, sturdy, easy to move around, and fits many different configurations according to your needs.

The gate...

It anchors well to the wall, either straight on --------- or at a turn |________|. It was one of the few gates on the market that were greater than 10' and not flimsy. Still shakeable by a toddler, but not dangerously so.
There are 8 2' panels, or 16' total. If your opening is smaller, you can remove segments. However, the only problem is that if you want to use an odd number of segments for a better fit (instead of an even number), the way the corners and posts are engineered, you really can't. The plastic attachments don't come off the horizontal metal bars and the plastic end caps don't fit the other way. So my installation looks like this: \______/
It could have been engineered more intelligently to use an even or odd number of segments, so I hope the manufacturer reads this in addition to potential customers and subsequently fixes it. And then sends me a new one for doing the job their Quality Assurance department should have done.

Limited in its configurations, dork engineered.

honestly it took 2 minutes of putting together before our toddler got it open- lock didn't lock and would just slide open with ease.  had to disassemble and put back together. locks now but didn't keep toddler from getting through- 2 button lock might work better? keeps dog out at least.

The gate is sturdy but some important things made me return it before using it:
The gate latch is spring loaded with makes it impossible to open with one hand while holding a baby.
The wall mount screws are tiny, about an inch long. I dont know how they expect the mounts to hold without using your own screws.

Positives are that the gate is solid and folds to many positions. this is useful if you are extending it wall to wall, it can contort around many angles. Seems easy to install.

Cant open gate with one hand

Not high quality at all. The plastic connectors in between the panels are thin and fragile. One of the pieces literally snapped as I lifted it out of the box. Luckily I bought it at Walmart.com and was able to return it to my local store without any problems. The North States company makes a much better "3 in 1" system similar to this that I am very happy with.

This gate broke as I was taking it out of the box.
