Absolutely love this gate!! I had to buy a second one and will be getting a third! Using for pet control . Very well made and so easy to assemble and install, too. I have 3 large dogs and really need a strong and extra high gate. The open door design is so convenient. No more climbing over, a push of a buttong and I walk right through. Love it!

We are using to is in an old hardwood doorway so the sealant makes this slip a bit when enough pressure is applied. Since I got this to keep big dogs out of the kitchen sometimes it gets enough pressure for that. I’ll have to sand the sealant down a bit to make it rougher for a better grip. But I’ll be able to easily fix that when I no longer need this. For a good sturdy gate you either need to do that or get one that bolts in to the wall. This is super easy to install and use. Very happy with this.

Easy install and use

This is a really nice gate. We got it to separate a new cat. our youngest cat could slip through the bars, but the rest couldn’t. The gate was easy to open and close. The height of the gate made it easier to open and shut and kept the cats from jumping over it.

We got this to keep our puppy out of the utility room without having to close the actual door (cuz there's no other way to get heat in there). It works really great for what we need it to do. We didn't have to screw it into the frame, but that option is available with this if you need.  It was relatively easy to set up. It's very easy to open the door on it.

Great Puppy Gate

This gate was super easy to put together and install. My grandson is 2 1/2, very tall and a climber! LOL He is climbing out of his crib at night if he has to go potty .. I wanted to make sure that he does not wonder the house - this gate is perfect to keep him gated in his room, but still be able to close his door. Also, it's extra tall- so he cannot climb over it...yet! LOl

Great tall baby gate!

I bought 2 for standard doors in my home. One of the doors is a bit wider than the other, but well within what the gate advertises to fit. It feels a bit flimsy with the tension screws extended out (about half way). The other did not require the tension screws to be extended much, and it is very sturdy. 
Both of these gates are to keep dogs out of rooms. I am not so sure how the gate to the wider door is going to work out in the long run. But the narrower door will be fine.
Nevertheless, the gates are fairly easy to install. And once installed, they're very easy to operate.

Good gates if your opening is on the lower end

The one I got is really good it even stay up when my dog hit it but the other one we have in my kids room it don’t stay up if my kids little hit it come down but the one was great and the second one is not that great so

If you’re looking for a temporary solution until you find something sturdier, I’d recommend this. The only thing I will say is the spring mechanism to close the gate does get stuck after a while. I’ve had it for a month and the button gets stuck when you push it down.

It seems like if I fully tighten all of the supports then I can’t open the gate but if I don’t tighten them all the way then my toddler will untwist the one mount and pop the gate open himself. It’s probably an operator issue not an item issue. Plus I’m sure I birthed a real life Tommy Pickles.

Works as intended.

we got 2 for special needs children and they hold up to the test, but didn't come with the smaller adjuster side for when you need an extra tall gate that isn't extra wide. did not fit in standard door.

Obnoxious to put up, didn't fit a 35" hallway without the extension and with it on it was too wide to fit into the holders you screw into the wall (at least not without taking the washer out on either side. Without the wall holders the pressure doesn't keep it in the wall without sliding. Spent two hours wrestling with it only for the lock mechanism to be misaligned, didn't matter what we did as far as loosening or tightening. The door gets stuck and you have to yank on it to open or close it as well as the bottom not alighning. The whole thing is janky and uneven regardless of the fitting situation .

I got this for dogs but I would be concerned about a young child hurting themselves on it. I leave a second star because it could probably be ok on a different sized opening. Generally though I wouldn't recommend it unless the area you attach is significantly more narrow or wide than 35". I also don't think the size would change how uneven the build is. Get a different product
