Most customers found setup and installation straightforward.

Can be snug, but also loose on certain beds.

Constructed to withstand weight and pressure.

Lack clear visuals and labeling, causing assembly difficulties.

Can be straightforward, but assembly and installation can be challenging.

I love love this rail!
I don't have kiddos but I do have two small dogs and a very tall bed that they love jumping off of.
One of them recently got a leg injury so we bought this rail to hopefully stop the jumping and truthfully I'm very happy to say that it has done the job and even helps to keep toys and my blankets on the bed.

Bought for my dog, wish I had thought of it sooner

Works great for tempary use. It was a little difficult to install by yourself and the directions were not clear, but it does work good!!

The assembly instructions were not helpful. We had to figure out another way to get the cover over the bars because the it was not possible to do it according to the instructions. Once assembled it was easy to use and store.

Assembly issue but good product.

It does the job of keeping child from falling out of bed, but it's a bit bulky for a temporary fix
as I only use it when my Grandson spends the night. I would have preferred without the straps and just flat bars to go under the mattress. But this is great if you're keeping it up.

It works but just wish it folded flat. I have it on a tall bed and when fixed down it doesn't completely lay flush with the bed. It is better than some others or there. Stays put. You must pull the anchor bar to the edge of the other side of the bed to secure in place and to keep from having a hump in mattress. I bought for a full size bed for my 3 yr old granddaughter.

we purchased these for a twin bed with mattress and box spring on a bed frame. the plastic connectors that fit against the mattress to hold the straps tight don't work very well. when we pulled tight enough to give the rail support, the end piece would slip off the mattress. after several attempts we gave up. then we modified the two rails we bought by attaching them together to work as one... so the rails are connected to each other with the same straps... they hold pressure against the mattress very well.
so if you only buy one rail, they don't work

doesn't hold against mattresss

Does not fit on toddler bed. Nowhere in the description on the site does it say it can't be used with a toddler bed. In the enclosed instructions it clearly says cannot be used on toddler bed. Must be used on twin to queen size bed. Very disappointing.

Very nice . Wish direction were clearer. Plastic handle was not as thick as I was hoping it to have
But I kept because it got a stain on it

Not that great

This item was literally the most difficult to put together because of the push pin things, my thumbs hurt for days and the instructions were a joke and by the time I got it together, only to realize the cover should have been put on along the way. May be user error, but it was incredibly frustrating and it is very short, seems like half the size of what is shown in the picture.

Be prepared to take apart as instructions suck

Do not buy this guard rail. The plastic part on one of the bolts that the rail latches on has already fractured after using less than a dozen times. This guard rail can be used with a standard twin adult mattress, but it does not lay flat when opened with our bed that has a slim box spring and a 10 inches high frame. I had it installed between the mattress and the box spring.

Not reliable and already broken

Regalo Swing Down Bedrail — bed safety rail that swings down and out of the way. 43 by 20 inches metal frame with patented Gap Guard secures rail to mattress edge, fits up to queen mattress, easy no-tool setup, for ages 2–5 years.
