I needed a door on a formal livingroom turned sewingroom to keep my grandkids and my 4 legged children out. We couldn't figure out what to put there because the original homeowner framed the opening so it was not a normal door. To have one made would have cost a fortune. This worked perfectly! We bought two so that we could block the hallway instead of the den to give the dogs more roaming room. Both look great and fit great. Would recommend them to everyone. Whether you're looking for a taller, more polished looking gate or one that's in your budget, this one covers both of those criteria. GET THIS GATE! YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!

The Best

I love this gate - I bought two! I have a Sheltie and a Siberian Husky that are not allowed in certain rooms of our home. These gates are tall enough and strong enough to do the job - and as a bonus, they look very decorative. Exactly what we needed.

I actually use this to separate our dogs during the day. It has been the best thing ever! It is easy to open and slip through the gate but because it's taller it keeps my small jumping dog in and our big pit boxer out. I like how easily it adjusts to the wall and we have it near a doorway so out big pitty can't jump up and knock it down.

Love this gate!

The gate looks good and works well.  I have it set up  in my bedroom doorway.  The wall cup protectors are useless. The back is smoith so just slid around every time I tried opening the gate.  They need some kind of no slip backing.  I took them iff and now the gate works.  I'll have to wait and see what kind of damage is done to the wall when it's taken down.

Nice looking gate. It indicates you don't need  to screw it into the wall, and you don't unless you want to ensure it Doesn't slide if pushed against. I am returning as the described dimensions are a little off, but enough for it to not fit properly. Would have loved to be able to keep it.

Unfortunately my 19 month old granddaughter was carrying the door of the gate instead of being kept in the other side. She is only 25 pounds so should not be able to break the weld. Currently have no gate to keep her contained. The gate was great for first couple of months then the self latching quit so had to latch by hand. Now ordering new gate which will not arrive for two days so have to find a way to block her safely in and allow us to get around house. Obviously will be buying different brand.
