I bought this Gate to keep the dogs out of my 95 year-old aunt‘s bedroom. We needed something that would be easy for her to operate, but would be effective at keeping the dogs out when she doesn’t want them visiting with her. You can install this in just a few minutes and we really like that you can even adjust the amount of effort that you’ll need to open the gate. We needed something that would be easy enough for an elderly person with limited strength, and yet be able to stand up to dogs pushing against it. We’re really pleased with this.

Love this baby gate in our extra wide hallways. My favorite part about this gate is the entire hall is an opening the hinges and mounts are on the walls so no bumbing into or having to sqeeze pass the opening of the gate, even moving larger items and some furniture is easily achieved. This baby gate requires screws being put in the wall on studs and will easily hold a climbing tolder without fear of breaking givong you peace of mind. My toddler has yet to climb over it or open it. it has a hook latching design at the top and the bottom has a notch for the gate to sit securely. we have two of these gates up.

Needed a second gate to keep pets out of a room. This was an easy choice because I have used this particular gate before. I do not like gates where you have to step over a piece of metal on the floor in the doorway opening. I did unscrew the latch and take the thumb push part off so that it just lifts up and opens because we didn’t need it for pets. Very easy to do and dogs are not skilled enough to push this open.

Easy to use pet or baby gate

Be careful with the screws. You'll round the Phillips head out easily if you dont stay square on them. other than that my dogs cant open it, and I don't need to worry about them trashing furniture while I'm at work..

This baby gate is actually for our dog.  We are using it to keep him out of our craft work room. Its easy to get in and out.  Even our grandkids can actually go in and out with no problem.

Gate seems sturdy and does the job. However, it has the most bizarre closing mechanism I have ever seen on a baby gate. I would struggle to explain it in words. Also, kind of a hassle to install compared to other gates I have had, and the installation is a hassle BECAUSE of how weird the locking mechanism is... Strange design. Once you get it all into place and figure it out, it works fine. Has these weird middle pieces that hold the separate gates together (again a strange design choice I struggle to explain) that do not fit it at all, but they work well enough.  3/5.

Product looks great. Easy to install. But where the extension screws go are poorly attached. Just a month of use the L shaped hinge just came off, out . Can't use anymore

Weak hinge

would have been a perfect addition if not for the fact I paid full price for a used piece of equipment and after attempting to install realizing why it was returned in the first place. their was a manufacturer defect in one of the mounting pieces and that made the gate as a whole unusable. Super fun

I think I got a defective gate. When the bars are lined up to put the top and bottom clip on the top rails are no where near flush leading to it being impossible to open and close. Tested my patience.

Junk

During the initial set up it was already missing pieces then I fell down the steps I was attempting to keep the children safe from. Bruised my tailbone and im struggling to bring it back for a return.
