I have always wanted a machine like this for professional sewing results but I wasn't aware there were any home versions available. I learned about this model from another seamstress, let me tell you it is so easy to use and gives 100% professional results!

Excellent machine works exactly as advertised. Great cost for a great machine. Wonderful value.

Worth getting

This powerhouse blind hem stitch machine does the job it was intended for. I am gradually learning it and adjusting the few simple knobs to each clothing article I work with. The needle is very difficult to thread and I am thus far not able to use needle threader for this.

Great addition to machine collection

I have no prior experience with blind hemmers but I studied online by watching videos before purchasing and using this. I set aside a couple of hours to set up and learn it and found it rather straight-forward to figure out. The hardest part about use is threading the curved needle as there isn't much clearance but I'm delighted that it comes with tweezers. I also use the aid of my serger threader tool at times. It's something that is easily perfected by practice. (Investing in a light may help if you struggle with threading needles.) 

My only disappointment is that within the first 2 uses I somehow lost the plastic shield and screws. They must have jiggled loose when I didn't notice and now I cannot locate them. I wish the connection was a bit more solid and resistant to vibration, but hopefully if I contact Reliable I can get a replacement without it costing very much.

I have enjoyed hemming items for a musical and I'm awaiting a batch of uniforms. I will enjoy the process much more this year with a dedicated hemmer.
