I've been using this style of hair straightener from Remington for the past 3-4 years. I've used others that's are more expensive and it left my hair straight for a few hours and slowly started to puff/frizz up like unlike Remington.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flat iron is good for making hair straight or for crimping hair. The flat iron heats up well and quickly. The handle is easy to hold and comfortable in my hand when I hold it. I like how this flat iron does not burn or dry my hair. This flat iron doe heat up in 30 seconds which for me works great when getting ready in the morning this flat iron will heat up to 410 degrees. I do like it has an auto shut off. The gold pearl look on the top of the flat iron makes it look pretty.

Heats up very quick and stays hot, but does pull hair if using too big of sections

Good reviews for this flat iron, but mine must be defective.  As you can see from the photo, the plates do not touch except at the tip. So my hair just slides right thru.  Very dissappointing
