I love the straightener. It really gives your hair a nice shine. The high temperature really gets the jobs done. I have a really curly hair (I'm half black/ half Puerto Rican) and it gets my hair perfectly straight. The straightener gives off even heat which stops from frying the ends of my hair.y It has a temperature lock and when the straightener reaches the temperature you set it to it beeps to let you know. The outside if the straightener does get a bit hot after long use. It also has auto shut off. I find that straightening one inch sections of your hair is easiest.

I had a straighter for 8 years and it finally
Died, so I had to buy a new one. I bought a CHI and was so disappointed with it because it didn't get very hot. My hair is super thick and this one worked just like my old one! I love this straightener and hope it works for a long time!

I have had expensive hair straighteners and my last one bit the dust this week.  I work 12 hr nights at our hospital with this pandemic I am working overtime also.  I ordered this straightener online and it was delivered the next afternoon!  Wow Walmart!  :-). Delivery was a day early and yall made my life so much easier!
The straightener is great and does just as good a job as the really expensive ones.  Ill keep this one and will buy this brand again,
Walmart has a customer for life also because of the convenience and fantastic customer service!

Wonderful product!

The first time I purchased this flat iron was 3 or 4 years ago for around $25 dollars. It held up for about how long the package predicted and I was so pleased that I purchased it again! The flat iron glides very smoothly and makes even the curliest hair silky smooth! I'm looking forward to another great 3+ years with the iron and think that is a great deal considering the price!

Great for the money!

I'm impressed! So my long trusted chi died recently and I just wasn't wanting to spend the money on another one, I had it for 15 years.. this Remington Germanic flat iron did just as well!!! I have very thick hair, with a little of hair oil to protect this flat iron did wonderful.

best flat iron

This is an honest review. I read all the raving reviews and got this after much research and no this not a good straightener (so i have returned it). I have coarse hair that go a little above my elbows. It took me many passes to straighten my hair on the 450 heat. It did straighten my hair but not as well as i wanted and definitely not the ends. This is the part that bothered me the most. After straightening, my hair felt coarse and fried. I always deep condition and use heat protectant before straightening. But no matter what i did this just made my hair feel very dry and fried after straightening. I had to use the highest heat setting because it was not straightening my hair on lower settings. Very very disappointed. Used it twice because since I really wanted to like this i wanted to believe i was wrong. Sadly I wasnt :( got this a week ago and now returning. It did glide on the hair and did somewhat straighten the hair (not the ends though- they looked very bad) hence two stars for that. I have used remington flatirons all my life but this was a huge disappointment.
