Easy plug and play.  Gives information on state of charge of battery(ies).  Identifies the number of batteries connected in parallel.  Identifies Amp hours, how much energy is being pulled and how much energy is being inputed, respectively.

Better to know

Gives me all I need to know on the battery levels.  Takes the guesswork out of how much time is left in the battery as well as realtime charge/discharge rates.

Monitor is a big help.

I bought this monitor to go with two Renogy Smart batteries to replace the failed lead acid batteries in my Jayco travel trailer.  I decided to build it into a tabletop box that sits on the bedside countertop.  This allows me to unplug it and move it with the batteries when I remove them from the camper during the winter.  I moved the batteries from outside to inside installed in the under bed storage area.   This little monitor provides the info that I need.  I especially like the current reading that shows the charging current to show you how my Renogy DC to DC and my Renogy AC to DC chargers are performing.  I would recommend this monitor, especially if you don't want another app on your cell phone.

The monitor works - the monitor displays that i have 4 batteries connected - it dies not display seperate battery condition - the back screen light is very dim and hard to read dusplay - but it works -SOC - amps etc

Monitor - lithium batteries

The unit works fine and has useful information but the screen is dark and difficult to read. In my RV I will typically read it with a flashlight.

Put in the jumper between the two batteries I bought (Up to Link!), plugged in the monitor and it woke up straight away.  Whole thing took 90 seconds.  Ditto on the comments about not auto scrolling through number of batteries, AH installed etc.  Just let me pick what readout I want and let me freeze on that screen.  For me it would be SOC (State of Charge.)  Can we update over the internet if new firmware is generated?

Painless

So far I've been quite happy with this unit but some of the features are a bit redundant. I don't need to see the total amp hours of my two batteries as I know they are 100 ah each. And it really doesn't need to scroll through the settings. I would much rather just set it to one and leave it. Apart from that it does everything else I want. Gives me a very accurate state of charge. Let's me know how much battery life left when using different appliances. For me that's all I need.

Good unit, needs some tweaking.

Very easy setup.  My other monitor didn't track when the battery charged back up so that is a nice feature.  It also track how much is coming in from the panels.  The screen definitely needs to be brighter, its a bit hard to read.  Overall I like it.  A few tweaks it can be great!
