We all want to be more environmentally responsible. At the same time, we should expect eco-conscious products to be functional and be able to compete and eventually replace products that are damaging to our environment. Unfortunately, these compostable plant based bags simply do not meet the minimum functional standards. Repeatedly, they ripped immediately at the top fringes when tried to unfold them so to place in the garbage pail.  The bag-folding design is flawed and must be changed.

These bags were shredded as if they had gone through our paper shredder, long, straight lines and when you tear one at the perforation, to get a new bag, they tear into what will become the bottom of the new bag. The worst we've ever tried. Sorry. Great idea though.

Good idea that didn't work

Don't waste your money!! Super Thin,it's splits or tears open just trying to open the bag.
