I have had a stubborn spot on my nose for weeks that is dry and red and nothing was helping. I used Hero Rescue Balm for a few days and it has improved drastically! I will be making sure I always have this cream on hand. It is great for acne prone skin as it hydrates and soothes and perfect for this time of year as the air gets dry! Treat yourself to this lightweight cream! Another great Hero product! I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

Rescued my dry skin

Hero

This product is really effective & brought my skin back to life so fast! It helped heal my skin quickly after blemishes & left me feeling super hydrated. I will definitely add this to my arsenal of regularly used skin products. I highly recommended purchasing it. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

Love this product!

I really like how well Hero rescue balm hydrates my skin. I applied on my zits when my skin was clearing up. It was light and kept my skin healing and recovering. I will keep using it . I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

Hydrates greatly

This post-pimple balm is excellent for calming redness and dryness right after a patch or extraction, accelerating the final stages of healing. While it feels rich and thick (a little goes a long way!), it is most effective on spots that are already flat and closed, acting as a great protective barrier for recovery.

Great product

Several years ago I was given the opportunity to try this for free in exchange for my honest opinion. . . Well, I've been using it since. Not only does it help heal skin post acne but it also works wonders for scars and dry skin. After having part of my nose almost ripped off by getting in the middle of a cat fight I had a pretty nasty scar. . . This was the only product that I noticed results right away. I also get like dry patches around my nose, eyebrows and sometimes around my mouth. Being in the Florida humidity your skin can still get oily even where the dry patches are. Finding a product that provides enough hydration while not getting sticky and oily in the Florida heat is not all that easy. . . Also, I am weird about having stuff on my face that feels too thick and heavy. It gives me anxiety. I have problems with my skin barrier as well. . . Where products just sit on top of my skin rather than absorbing into it. Thankfully, this did not of that! It feels like it melts into your skin and it very soothing on your dry patches while not feeling heavy or sticky or oily. I also should add that I HATE the way silicone based products feel on my skin. . . Yes, I know I'm VERY picky and have a lot of hard to deal with skin concerns. But it makes finding something that truly works all the more exciting though. And this one was definitely a win in my book. I highly recommend trying it if you struggle with some of the issues mentioned above. Best part is you don't have to spend an fortune for a quality product. The only downside, if you even want to call it that, is if you don't use it for awhile it seems like it separate in the tube. . . But you just massage the tube or shake it up (this is the easier method imo) and you're good to go. Takes only a few seconds to do. But I know the first time it happened I was like what the heck. . . So don't be alarmed. Just shake it up and its good as new. Although, I do wish they'd add a little note about this so you didn't go into panic mode the first time it happens. Now if you're someone who uses this daily then you won't have to worry about it. . . But my skin is super unpredictable. So it's something I may not need for awhile but it is some I always want to have on hand because I just never know when I will my skin will start acting up again.

Not just for pimples

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only product I've ever found that actually fades the darkened skin immediately following an acne breakout. My skin is slow to heal and definitely is prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This stuff works wonders for me.

Fades post-blemish discoloration

I have oily skin that is also sensitive and prone to developing dark marks after a breakout, so I need products that are well-formulated for problem skin, and will soothe without making me even greasier. This is a godsend for quieting aggravated skin, and I think it helps my post-breakout dark spots fade a week or two faster than they would on their own. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. #ad

Helps to fade dark marks

The redness correcting version of this product was once my holy grail for making my acne prone skin look and feel better. I just bought another tube recently with the formula change and it no longer works or feels the same. It's sticky and doesn't absorb well into my skin and provides little to no redness coverage for me anymore. I'm so sad :(

New formula

I've been using the Rescue Balm for a couple years and it has helped with my stubborn acne blemishes and scarring. However, the new formula for the Rescue Balm has been disappointing. It feels super greasy and it does almost nothing to help my skin! I saw on Instagram that there will be changes to the Rescue Balm +color correct (which was a key part of my skin caremakeup routine) since people, and myself, have noticed the drastic change to the forumla. I doubt I will be buying another tube of the Rescue Balm until something is done like for the Rescue Balm +color correct. Please listen to your customers!!

Bring Back Old Formula

The New formula sucks!!! I used to swear by this product — it was my absolute hero for helping with my sensitive skin and scarring recovery. The old formula worked wonders: it calmed my breakouts, didn't irritate my skin, and I could actually see progress with my scars healing. Unfortunately, since the formula changed, it's been a total disappointment. Instead of helping, it's now causing me to break out badly, and my scars haven't improved at all. My skin is very sensitive, and this new version feels harsh compared to what it used to be. I'm really disappointed because I had finally found something that worked for me, and now I have to start the search all over again.

Horrible New formula
