[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a Wii remote, functions properly with the Wii/Wii U and other connections you can make. It has built-in motion-plus and hasn't had any issues yet. Connections can be a bit slow at times, but it does connect fairly easily. The design feels lighter than other remotes I've bought, and the sync button can be pressed without removing the back panel, which is a good design. The final thing to note is that the sensor is very sensitive and moves quickly. I like it, but it can be hard to control at times.

Because I am a first time owner & user of any game console & etc. I had a little problem getting the Wii Games to work on my Wii U Console. I went to nintendo.com and asked their Tech section and was told that I had to go online with the Console and download for 1 hour a program and that would solve the problem.

But I did not stop looking for a simpler answer. I asked this knowledgeable young man in Walmart Electronic Section what I should do and he pointed me to the Wii Remote Plus. I bought it, took it home and use the [sync] with my console. It immediately was ready to play my Wii Games. Happy Face Time was here again.

So Easy to use

After reading the reviews for the off brand controllers we decided to spend the extra money to purchase the Nintendo brand. The controller integrated seamlessly and has performed well even under heavy use. There are some things where buying OEM is the only way to go...to us, this is one of them.

Bought Nintendo Brand - No Regrets

Well it is a Wii remote I think the price could be a little better now that the Wii has been out for a wile but on the brighter side the remote works great!

What can I say!

Same as remote that came with the Game Console!. However, one difference...........button to sync remote to console is on back of remote - no need to open battery compartment!!!

Original Wii Remote

This is the latest edition of the Wii remote Plus.
works perfectly with the Wii and the Wii U.
Unlike some of the off-brand controllers this official Nintendo controller connects quickly and easily.
It also remain connected with no issue.

Great for Wii and Wii U

You get what you pay for .. this remote costs twice as much, but is guaranteed to work with every wii and each and every game ... also, included in the extra cost is a cover, wrist strap and two batteries which is not included with some of the other after-market brands ... you get what you pay for and I am glad I spent the extra $17

actual nintendo remote (not after-market)

Purchased the Wii remote and it came in and the sensor in the controller didnt seem to be working. I contacted them and they immediately resolved the issue and sent a new controller and it works great. They had great customer service and I was highly satisfied!

I ordered two remotes— only one of them worked. I expected them to arrive a little cleaner than they actually did— additionally, one of them had a bootleg jacket on it and neither had the original battery cover. Quite misleading, if I am ordering a refurbished, official Nintendo wii remote, I am at least expecting all of the parts of it to be official Nintendo parts. Overall disappointed, will not be buying my next remote from Walmart.

Bought two- only one worked.
