[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with this flat iron. Waited until wash day to use it because I wanted to see how it would do on my transitioning hair. My 3C hair is armpit length and is halfway grown out now so it can be a challenge to get a nice, straight finish on the natural portion of my hair. This did the trick very nicely, though. Flat iron heated up and was ready to go very quickly, in little to no time. I love that it has a wider/longer heating plate to work with a decent section of hair. Started out at 365 degrees just to see how it would be with my hair and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. It straightened my natural hair with one pass and even got my ends straight as well the first time around. I did a second pass only out of habit, but it wasn't necessary for my hair at all. Not a lot of frizz once done, either. Only took about 15 min. to flat iron my hair entirely, which is a plus for me. Took a little while for plates to cool down entirely before I was able to put it away (about 15 min. or so) but that's to be expected. Overall, a very nice product. It gives me a professional-looking finish with very little effort. Definitely recommend!

Great for Transitioning Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is much excitement about this flat iron especially for a coyly hair girl like me. I did do my part such as washing, deep conditioning, and lightly blow-drying my hair before putting the heat on it, so I don't blame any heat damage on the flat iron. I have a coarse type of hair commonly known as 4C hair. I set up the heat to 380 degrees and it has gotten my hair pretty straight and faster. It took me much less time to flat iron my whole head with this particular tool than I normally would with my old tool. I like the fact that it has an easy heat setting for more precise control for all types of hair. The plates are so smooth and glide through the hair gently without ripping it. The grip is perfect, and I got shiny hair as a result. I also used it to curl my hair and I got beautiful curls, too. For my coyly hair sisters out there, I would say get this flat iron and you would be amazed. I hope these come in different colors. This is a great tool and I highly recommend it.

Great straightener!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this flat iron. This is coming from a woman who used to iron her hair on an ironing board when she was in high school. This flat iron is very convenient to use. (Better than the old ironing board) I like the 1 1/2" wide plate. I also like the digital temperature display. It heated up very quickly which is always nice when you are in a hurry or running behind. I used the mid range heat setting because my hair is not very fine, but I do color it, so 325 degrees seemed to work out just right. It worked wonderfully and my hair was really shiny. It really glided nicely on my hair and there was absolutely no frizz. It also has an automatic shut off, which comes in handy, just in case it gets left on accidentally. All in all, I would say it is a very good product, with all the bells and whistles anyone would want for daily use. I highly recommend it!

Flat iron shine!

Silky hair

I like the iron and the way it straightens.... but it is very large and uncomfortable for me to hold and manage. My Conair InfinitiPRO irons are much easier to use and I will have to stick with them.

Nice iron - but large and hard to handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an avid fan of flat ironing for years. I recently let the habit go during the COVID pandemic and due to the fact my hair is crazy long.

Long hair needs a large flat iron. My current iron is fantastic but too small for all this extremely curly and thick hair. I was excited to receive this flat iron. It was much larger and would hopefully straighten this mane.

Pros:
The iron is larger which allows someone with long or thick to make progress more quickly. It is also lightweight for how large of a surface area it is.

This iron heats up very fast. It goes to over 400° in ten seconds and the light on the numbers indicates when it is fully heated. 

Cons:
Despite being larger and heating up quickly, this flat iron is not for me. I have very thick and curly hair (2c/3a curl pattern.) I applied a heat protectant spray and was hoping to have straight hair for the day. I started at 400° and worked my way up the heat scale. I finally maxed out and still had to go over a section of hair multiple times. My hair never went straight. I passed over the section several times and at best it went from curly to wavy. Maybe I would need to do something different, but this curling iron just didn't work for my hair. My old flat iron always straightened my hair. 

Though disappointed, I think this may work for a different hair type. It is large, light weight and easy to use. If you have thinner or hair with less texture, it may work better for you.
