This is a never fail perfect rice maker.  Measure ingredients, put together - you do not have to get the water boiling first.  Just put in the water, salt and rice together, use a spoon and quick stir for eveness or don't.  it will come out perfectly every time.

As a person living the single life, this is a very easy to use and handy rice cooker.  My last one finally broke down, I'd had it for years and it was a larger rice cooker.  I tried the single-serving rice cooker, but it didn't fit my needs.  This one is perfect.

Look, we all know we can just use a pot on the stove, but this is great for when you are easily distracted.  I am not a meal prepping health fanatic. I am a man who lives alone and hates trying to cook a meal for one.  Add rice and water, set to cook, and then I can start preparing, and grilling some chicken.  Once everything is ready, I add a bit of honey Dijon dressing, and have a few easy meals that are healthier than grabbing fast food

Affordable rice cooker

This is the small rice cooker and perfect for other things, such as making red onion water (tea) for coughing ailments… I purchased this second one for my bathroom to boil/steam sliced red onions to clear my throat from coughing which I follow up with drinking the tea… you never have to worry about the home catching fire… it is also PERFECT for a one dinner meal quantity of rice - I LOVE MINE

I love this rice cooker. I have used it several times and we tend to make rice at least 2x a week. I have made brown, white, parboiled and wild rice. Along with some grains (farro). Cooks evenly, has easy guides on the inside to measure the amount of water needed. No more burnt or under cooked rice, and for that matter mushy rice. This makes it easy to make rice, and nothing is stuck on the bottom afterwards or needs to be scrapped off. Would recommend!

not bad for a little inexpensive rice cooker,my stove broke and couldnt use the burners,so i had to buy a ricecooker snd hotplate,for 3 people this cooker is absolutely worth the money we spent,for a dorm room,couple just starting out,hecks its good for my family of 3(2)adults (1)teenager

Awesome Lil Rice Cooker

I like this little pot a lot, but the very last thing it is, is a rice cooker.  I was disappointed when I found out I can't just put water and rice in, go watch the stove and the oven and come back and bingo, Rice.  I had the same experience the first as others.  The pot boils, spits and sputters all over, leaving puddles all over the counters. But I didn't let that stop me.  Here's the directions: Don't follow those measurements that came with the rice cooker.  Use the directions on the package.  Like 1 cup rice to 2 cups water.  Let the water boil-cover cover on, add the rice , when it boils again place the cover on  a slant so the steam can escape.  If you have to you can use a spatula or spoon across the pot to  keep the cover ajar. When most of the water has absorbed then place the cover back on and switch to warm.  You have to test when it's done.  If you keep the cover on too long on the warm selection it can get mushy, so I sometimes take it off.  This helps but the main thing is the cover can't be on when its boiling at that speed.  It's a ceramic coating and nothing sticks, that's a plus.  But it cooks oatmeal perfect and you don't have to watch it, but you do have to turn it to warm.  Other grains cook really easily as well.  So it is very handy and I use it often since just getting it.  With a few modifications to the instructions, I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

much smaller than i expected but that's my fault for not reading the fine print. it's useful enough though so i kept it. cooks okay but the bottom is almost always brown and hard. I've had better rice cookers outside of America but this is decent on a budget

Decent enough

I wanted a small grain and rice cooker. This works but you have to watch or it will burn there is no heat adjustment for different grains. Does not come with instructions for anything but rice.  Follow the rice direction and it boils over making a mess and harder clean up  so on average I would not recommend this for some without the experience to adjust amounts and  just wants to dump and go. But does work and get hot so can be used for other things.

Not what it should be.

Much smaller than described.  Not based on a true cup standard (not 8 oz per cup volume).  They give you a measuring cup that holds slightly over 1/2 cup and call it 1 cup.  Thus, this rice cooker is slightly over half the capacity they are describing.  Go with the model that costs $10 more.
