this is a great vacuum for the ash fireplace.  it makes clean up easy.  it has attachments as well to use as a shop vac

i use this in my downstairs wood stove, which is difficult to to shovel ashes out.  The ash vacuum makes it much easier to clean!

does a great job sucking up ash from my pellet stove.  no dust escapes, moderately easy to clean, filter does a great job.  Use it to clean fire box daily and ash bin weekly.  It takes multiple weeks to fill canister.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although  I have only used this vacuum twice I am able to say the vacuum does what it is supposed to do .

This vacuum was packaged well and in my opinion is well built.  The power of the vacuum is more than adequate.  

The vacuum comes with a filter for the motor so no ash gets into the motor and the reusable bag filter is a great improvement over other ash filters.   

I also appreciate the tools that come with the vacuum. especially the floor unit which is so helpful when I spill ash on the floor.

Well Designed Product - Works as Advertised

Works Great with the fine powder ash. only disappointment was the brush. Still 5 stars.

i have purchased other ash vacs, but there lack of suction is disheartening. This ash vac is amazing, it is by far the superior to others.

This is a great vacuum strong suction very easy to handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the first use, the PowerSmith 10-Amp Ash Vacuum met my expectations. While it is not as loud as the typical shop vac, it's what I expected for the size. The vacuum's suction was great and the filters kept all dust from flowing out of the exhaust. The only minor downfall was that it heated up quickly. When I was about 80% done with the deep clean of my stove, I could not get the vacuum to start again for short time until it cooled down a bit. After 5-10 minutes it worked as expected for the remainder of the cleaning.
