We stumbled on the Ricky Ricotta books when I was looking for books for my son to read for his "Book It" program from school. While this book may be a little long for a 6 y/o to read in one sitting, he did it! He couldn't wait to find out what happened in the next chapter. The illustrations are cute and, at times, hilarious! It definitely kept my son's attention and interest.

As a parent, I like this series because it is not as full of "potty talk" as Pilkey's other series.
