Batteries attach securely to tools. They last longer than most other while delivering power until they die. Then the charger replenishes them in 60 minutes or less.  It don't overheat and I have 10 year old batteries that still hold a charge.  I love ridgid and everything they build.

I love Rigid tools! Rigid is all I have used in power tools for the past 11 years. They have more power than Milwaukee. They're a little heavier than Milwaukee but the strength and torque far outweighs the weight! I have a Rigid circular saw, sawzall, drill, impact driver, multi-tool, and some extra batteries to power each. I also have a very old model corded Rigid miter saw . I have been eyeing a new Rigid compound miter saw. Some day I hope to afford it

Rigid Batteries

Feb 2026: I bought a pair of 6Ah 18v batteries (no charger), they are working well and driving my outdoor tools well into the day. I look forward to more innovative Ridgid tools and not only the upgrade of old tools. I would like to see a pole mounted hedge trimmer, lawnmower, power assisted wagon, among many others in my mind. Ridgid a great battery, so let's develop a great tool system.

Great battery

It's been about a month now. I am a widow and have nobody here to help me with my Yard Work. I don't walk well use the walker, but this rigid blower is the best thing that I purchased probably forever to help with my Yard Work. I can hold onto my walker and still hold it and blow my patio off blow the leaves around. It's the most awesome thing I've had.

So easy to use

The batteries and charger work as expected. I really like the case the kit comes with. Wish I could buy just the case for my other batteries.

Currently, after a short period of testing, I am very satisfied with the efficiency and durability of this battery.

EFFECTIVENESS

I haven't used the nail gun in a while. I suppose that's what happened to the battery. Possibly sitting in my trailer freezing cold for days had anything to do with it. But yes, I miss using it the convenience of it the consistency, ready when you need it. It gets the job done.

My Go To…

I have so far enjoyed the batteries. My main concern with them is the don't seem to last as long as I feel a 6ah max battery should last. In my blower I get 15 ish min out of 1 battery. So definitely recommend getting a turbo charger if you are limited on the number of batteries you have, I am new to the platform and it was the LSA that brought me to it! Moved away from dewalt as I got tired of batteries going bad!

18v battery

Purchased the product some time ago and attempted to return the product (batteries) the store where it was purchased who instructed me to call the number listed in the ad. Called the number and received NO ASSISTANCE other than telling me to the Ridgid website.

Doesn't Maintain the Lifetime Service Warranty

Rigid cordless tools are my main platform for our property maintenance company.  I find the tools of similar to the competitive offerings from Makita and Dewalt that I have used. I find the Rigid cordless tool batteries to perform well and hold their ability to work and charge over a period of years. Unfortunately the reason for my one star eating is Rigid's lifetime service agreement (LSA). In concept, the LSA would put Rigid cordless power tools, their batteries and chargers into the 4 to 5 star rating range if it weren't for it's dysfunctional registration website. I have wasted to much time trying to registering batteries, chargers and tools only to repeatedly fail and finally give up. Makes you wonder how horrid the experience might be should you ever try to make a claim on the LSA. So for the false hope that the LSA offers and the absolutely horrid Rigid registration website that Rigid presents I give Rigid a one star rating.
