Rislone Engine Treatment is high quality penetrating lubrication oil, combined with protective engine additives and special cleaning agents.&nbsp; Its multi-grade formula allows the oil to flow freely and provides protection over a broader temperature range.&nbsp; Sludge and other harmful deposits within engines can alter tolerances, stick rings, cause noisy valves & lifters, and plug oil passages and screens. The unique Rislone formula is designed to penetrate into valve seats, bearing surfaces, piston rings and ring grooves, where sludge and varnish is likely to form.&nbsp; These deposits are gradually removed and held in suspension until they are trapped in the filter or removed with the next oil change. Regular use of Rislone Engine Treatment, with oil and filter changes at the proper intervals, will keep such deposits to a minimum. Been using this stuff since the 70's does just what it says it will do my grandma didn't change her oil like she should have clicking lifters put this in and sent her on her way next time she came by no noise coming from the engine pulled the dip stick and you could visually see where it was in the oil because that part of the dip stick was shiny clean! I had a 1966 Lincoln coupe that belonged to a Dr it sat for a while and was not driven much I got the car and it burned one quart of oil going over the pass to the beach and back less than 100 miles I put a bottle of this stuff in the crankcase drove it over the summit I went below the speed limit until I hit the final grade then put the pedal to the metal and let it go till I got to the top after I went home I topped it off and it loosened the rings and never burned a drop after that…

This stuff is not snake oil it does what the label says it will do.

I added this product along with a quart of AT fluid to my daughters car.  It had some sticky valves that were ticking and knocking.  After a couple weeks,  the car seems to be running a lot better.

I started using Rislone as an additive to my oil change years ago. I had a BMW with a slight ticking sound. After adding the Rislone, it was gone. I became a firm believer and have been using ever since.

It stopped the ticking sound!

Product has been a benefit to me on many vehicles. Caution though, take some time to decide. I have seen almost instant performance and I have seen vehicles that took many miles to get the full benefit. The major function this product (or most common) needs to do is clean away gum and varnish, and allow oil to freely flow at throughout engine. Sometimes it takes a while, on engines that need a bit more love. I always suggest deciding on the oil change after the first use.

Want to clean out your motor slowly use this product, do it twice and if you have any lifter noise or anything it will clean it out

makes the engine more quiet, does not damage engine, I trust this product. I always use it every oil 6

Bought a used vehicle and the CarFax was a little sketchy on the maintenance.  Read about how this can clean the engine while leaving it in full time.  Some of the others you have to drain right away. YouTube rating was great.  Car seems to run a little quieter.

Engine cleaner

Did absolutely nothing for my son's 2014 Honda Accord EX-L with the VTC rattle on cold start up. Wont be buying any Rislerone products in the future.

Does not do anything it says it does.
