My wife and I are retired and we started playing this daily when COVID started we wore out the 3 previous sets, this is our fourth.  So yes, I recommend the game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family is slightly board-game competitive, and so we write our name and date of victory when we win the game on the box to keep track of who is the Real Winner. By doing this, we realized we have played this more than 50 times in the last 3 years and, given a good cup of coffee and an hour to hour and a half of free time, we would play with you! 

It is the perfect balance of logic, skill and chance, with changes from the other player's circumstances  (and yours!) happening every round to keep you on your toes and keep you at the edge of your seat.

We can't recommend enough!

Perfect Game for the Whole Family 10-99

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not grow up playing board games. Honestly, at times I get frustrated with too many rules that hinder game play. I have to happily report that while the initial basic games were slower as we read carefully through the rule book. I am excited to start incorporating the included expansion cards for added interest ☺️ I really like that there's so many options within the one game to expand and that it can be played with just 2 players.

Catan for 2 people

It might take a little practice to get it down. After learning it is very fan! I wpuld recommend 13 or older only because youger might nit enjoy it so much.

Fun and family loves

Perfect game for my family white elephant exchange, I can't wait to play with my husband in the evenings. Love that it's a 2 player option since we can't play the normal game very often with young children.

Best family game!

If you like strategic settlement building games, you'll love the settlers of Catan, a bit of resource management is needed since there are 6 types of resources. But if you don't mind long gaming sessions this might live up to your expectations!

Fun way to spend your game night!

Nice to have a 2-player version

Literally every other game like this will give you a cheat card to help keep track of all the symbols and what to do on your turn. This one requires you to remember dozens of different symbols and moves or have you search through the book-like instructions for specific info.

Needlessly complicated
