I got this for my fiancé who got a 2018 Cx-5 without CarPlay. It took maybe 30 minutes to install after watching lots of YouTube videos of others install. she has had no problem with the unit, still has all the old features, and now has the added benefit of CarPlay. Dealers over charge for the install if you or a friend are capable of installing it is worth the purchase
