Great project

would have preferred a few rocks on the bigger side as opposed to a dozen or more baby rocks. but my 4 year old and 2 year old love to paint so they didn't care!

My son was injured on vacation, so we bought this thinking it would be a fun activity for him. There are simple instructions, but NO instructions on how to create galaxy designs. Most of the rocks are too small to use. Buy yourself some acrylic paint and brushes and find your own rocks and look for designs online. Don't waste your money on this kit.
 If they changed the kit to include larger rocks and step by step picture instructions on how to make galaxy designs then it would be worth the money. As is, it is very disappointing.

Hard to get paint to stick. Rocks are smaller than expected.

I expected 4-6 clean, smooth rocks big enough to paint designs on. we got 30 tiny, dirty, jagged rocks we can't do anything with. I also expected directions on how to make galaxy designs, it didn't come with any. the paint also is so junky you have to add nearly a dozen layers just to start having it show up on the rocks.  It's better to just find your own rocks (which I didn't  want to do which is why I bought this)

Not what described. My box had rocks that were jagged, broken in pieces and definitely NOT the size advertised.  I would NOT recommend this product at all.

Do Not Recommend!!!

My daughters each bought a rock art kit from Horizon.  Both were useless because of the size of the "premium stones" included - they were too small.  Don't waste your money.  These kits are unusable.

Don't Waste Your Money

The whole kit sucks. No large rocks AT ALL. the paint sucks so bad you have to put like 10 layers on a rock so you cant do many. Total waste of money.
