The Rockford Fosgate P1000X2 is a 2-channel stereo amplifier capable of producing 500 Watts into each channel at 2-Ohms. The P1000X2 amplifier is great with full-range or component systems or can be bridged for use with several subwoofers. The Rockford Fosgate P1000X2 is an excellent way to PUNCH up your sound system without monopolizing your entire trunk – that way you have more room for subs! With its massive output stage, this amplifier is best suited for driving a pair of 8-ohm SVC subwoofers or four 2-ohm DVC subwoofers. Remember to utilize the recommended power and speaker cables to optimize power delivery.Big power for your speakers or subwoofersRockford Fosgate’s Punch P1000X2 amplifier sends 300 watts RMS to each of a pair of high-performance speakers or subs, filling your ride with plenty of loud, clean music. You can use the high-pass filter to keep the low bass out of your speakers so they perform more efficiently. You can also switch this versatile amp into mono mode to drive a sub with up to 1000 watts RMS, then use the built-in low-pass filter to send the correct bass frequencies to your sub. The Punch EQ2 features a bass and treble boost, in case you want to add a little boom and sizzle back into the mix.Easy to set for optimum performanceOnce again, Rockford Fosgate steps away from the crowd with their C.L.E.A.N. technology (Calibrated Level Eliminates Audible Noise) — a setup system that ensures your music will sound as clean and powerful as possible. It works like this: play the setup tone on the included test CD, adjust the receiver volume until a red clip light on the amp goes out, then turn the amp gain up until a blue light comes on.
