The Power T1S2-12 is a slimline 12″ subwoofer designed to fit into tight locations where regular woofers won’t fit. A single 2-ohm voice coil is used to simplify wiring layouts.Do you want bass but don’t have a lot of room? How about greater power handling than a typical shallow subwoofer? The T1 “Slimline” subwoofers aren’t your typical shallow subwoofers; in fact, they’ve been meticulously developed to match the performance characteristics of regular sized Power T1 subwoofers you’re already familiar with. These subwoofers are called “slim” since they don’t take up a lot of space and provide bass response similar to a regular sized type. Is it possible that this is right? Let’s just say the Wizards-of-Fos devised a brilliant slotted voice coil assembly with lengthy excursion travel. Don’t worry if you don’t understand what they’re saying; all you have to do is listen to how wonderful the T1S2-12 sounds!A Brand-New HorizonSubwoofer manufacturers have competed for decades to create the largest and most powerful subwoofers. However, in a market dominated by smaller cars and trucks, the emphasis has switched to creating high-performance subs that can fit in today’s vehicles. Rockford Fosgate recognises the importance of good bass, and their Power Series T1 thin subwoofers give incredible performance without taking up a lot of room.Large Sound In A Compact SizeTo help minimise mounting depth, the Power Series T1S2-12 subwoofer features a neodymium motor construction with high-strength magnets. Rockford Fosgate invented novel construction techniques to put a 3-inch voice coil into a 12-inch sub with only a 3-inch mounting depth, then used their Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST) to enhance cone area for richer bass. It all adds up to 600 watts RMS of power handling in a surprisinglysmall package. When you’re looking for a location for bass in your vehicle, you’ll love the big bass sound these subwoofers provide, and you’ll appreciate the small shape.
