I travel for business and I was getting very frustrated with constantly buying luggage because they were getting destroyed by the security/TSA process. I was fed up so I decided to do some research on a more durable luggage set. I came across the Rockland hard shell set when I was searching online at Walmart. Read the reviews and noticed they had my favorite color, purple. I ordered it ASAP because my next business trip was coming up less than a week. The set arrived within a few days, "wow I thought, that was fast". Everything about the luggage was great. The color, size, durability, and storage space. I've been on one trip so far and the luggage set barely has a scratch on it. I am so glad I came across this set.

Beyond what was expected

The luggage appears to be well built, is expandable, and stylish. We have looked at more expensive sets and this appears to be able to compete quite well. We have yet to use the set but we are confident it will hold up. If it survives an airport handling we will really be impressed. The set also carries a 5 year warranty for ordinary wear and tear.

Should stand a an airplane ride

I already have one set of this luggage so when the baggage handlers destroyed one of my Samsonite luggages I knew I wanted to replace it with the Rockland luggage. We've taken our Rockland luggage on several trips and are very pleased with its toughness and endurance.

everything looks realy good the color was close to what i expecter, fast delivery, you may whant to do a better job in the interier color photo that was unexpected but i can live with it.

Nothing special. Just a shell basically with not a lot of storage options inside. Has a cheap separate lock included, but it's not part of the actual luggage. I bought my daughter different luggage at a similar price, hers was a lot nicer than mine.

Not that great

Luggage seems like decent quality but the warranty for manufacturers defect requires the customer to pay $40 for the warranty repair, pretty much what I paid for each piece to begin with.  This effectively makes it cheaper to replace it if there is a quality issue with the product.

Assume it comes without a warranty

The luggage appears to be sturdy but upon closer examination, the seams are glued together and are coming apart. I will be returning the product.

For the price, this set wasn't bad except the quality is really bad. When I opened the packaging the handling bar had already cracked open. The plastic looks very cheap too. I am very worried if this will even last one trip on a plane.

Spend a little more for better quality

Don't even bother buying. When delivered shipping box was in good condition but suitcase was all busted up. Around all four wheels on suitcase were busted, big cracks throughout. These suitcase didn't even survive shipping NO WAY they would be any good for travel. I was very very disappointed
