This amp is amazing i have 2 walmart bought power acoustic 12" daul voice coil 2500 watt gothic subs wired in parallel in a ported box with 0 gauge wires and 3 batteries i ran 2 caps also. I 1st. Thought the speakers would blow but so far they are shaking my truck apart the clear power has everyone who heard it left in disbelief. For around 600 bucks for everything i did you cant go wrong. Rockville will not dissapoint you i promise.

Decent amp. No issues but buy a Scar Audio amp and the difference is night and day. Also, straight ugly. Scar sells at lower price and way better sound. I would not buy another Overrated product from this brand again. Your decision. It doesn't get hot or cut out, but lacks the kick most people want.

Decent but over priced and lacks the sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i know this amp isnt actually 4000 watts, but i only needed it for 2 10" subs. still goes into protect mode with an extra battery, 0gauge wire, and 3 good grounds. just save for a better amo, i will return it shortly

Could not power 2-15 inch Rockville subs. would cut off sounded like wires grounding. Then it didn't work at all.

trash amplifier

Gets extremely hot, even at low volume.  Dealing with Rockville is a nightmare for returns or exchanges.  Took over 3months for them to replace my underseat subwoofer. I took the plunge to get the stand alone amp to power a single JBL sub. Even with zero gauge power and ground, At high vol you get all types of cut-outs and tons of background noise at low vol. Changed the grounds twice, still the same. And wow the amount of HEAT this thing gives off is scary. I ended up replacing it with a PPI amp for maybe $50 more than the Rockville and have had zero issues since.  No cut-outs at high vol, no over heating and no ground noise.

Save your time and money

Rating my experience a one star only because I look at reviews from other sites and they say if this amp came from Audiosavings the amps are defective or refurbished from multiple customers.That was my 3rd party seller and I had the problem. My amp lit up but very low audio almost inaudible out of Rockville K9 D2 subs. First bad experience from Walmart online but they need to check out this 3rd party seller. Also used my old amps and they worked fine.
