The Rocky 8'' S2V Flight 600g Insulated Gore-Tex Military Boots are the ultimate combat boots. This footwear is the top choice for all military personal because they are built for quick maneuvers and fast-paced action. The flash- and water-resistant leather is geared to protect your feet from quick flashes and rope burn. The boots also boast 1000D nylon technology in the sides and panels with a PTFE coating that serves as a flame retardant. These boots can easily handle wet and cold conditions thanks to the addition of a Berry Compliant components waterproof membrane, and 600g of Thermal Insulation. To maximize comfort, the military boots also have triple-stitched uppers and proprietary high-walled Vibram soles, along with a perforated Air-Port cushion footbed and PU midsoles. They are outfitted with an Aegis Microbe Shield to prevent bacteria and fungus growth. Details: Berry Compliant, waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex fabric, 600 grams of Thermal Insulation, PTFE coated for flame-resistance, Vibram sole, Air-Port cushion footbed, PU midsole, Aegis Microbe Shield, made in the USA. I bought these boots about a month ago I am active duty  military and wear these boots 8+ hours a day and they are extremely comfortable and hold up well.  I've always had a pair of Rocky boots over my 30 yrs in the service.  I get yrs of use out of them I am loyal customer.

The boots arrived on time, and fit great right out of the box! I didn't need any break in time! Very comfortable boot! I've had this same experience with all my Rocky Boots!  So far very warm, but cold weather is just starting where I live. However, I'm confident they will keep my feet warm and comfy!

Perfect fit, very comfortable

I've had a pair of these before, I wore my last ones out, so I had to get a new pair. very comfortable. These are the only boots ill buy from now on.

Comfortable

This is actually my second pair of this boot I like cause it keeps my feet dry and warm in the winter, which is the only time I wear them. Having said that my first pair only lasted 2 winter before the stitching fell apart and the whole sole of the boot came off

Good winter boot

Performs as expected, I found that after continued use where my foot began to sweat, The glue that held the inner sock came loose and when I would take my foot out of the boot inner boot sock would want to come with my foot. That's the only issue I have with the boots. Both pairs that I bought simultaneously both do the same things.

These boots will be awesome when my exchange is complete. I have a pair of uninsulated SV2s and love them so I know the boots are good. These were just too tight and I exchanged them for a wide width. The website was a little misleading saying that they fit true to size. Also, on the website it says they are Gore-Tex boots, but when I received them the box said EVent.
