Stick

I have been using ROKU for over 5 years. We love it! Turned my non smart TV into a smart TV, and use it on my newer models also. We have bought ROKU sticks for family and friends as Christmas presents. They all were really excited, after learning how to operate, which is very simple, they all committed, BEST PRESENT EVER. Great product. Will keep all our TV`s, ROKU ON.

Smart TV

Roku stick works excellent i love it its higbly re

I have wanted this for quite some time but was afraid to purchase in case it did not work on my TV as its an older model. However, the delivery was next day and the installation was a breeze. I love all the free channels I can get, Father Ted, Bewitched, Monarch of the Glen etc.
Thank you Wallmart for a great product at a great price.

Elmer

i have a relatively new stick and tried to relocate it. immediately crapped out. Perfect screen but totally unresponsive. Tried all the tricks to no avail. I have to say worse Roku stick purchase. I have 1/2 dozen very old streaming sticks still functioning. Can't say the same for the remotes.

I expected more

Jessica

I've had this device for a couple years now. When I first got it the HDCP error kept coming up so I bought expensive cable, problem continued. So then I bought a brand new home theatre receiver result HDCP errors every hour or so. Not to mention the apps freezing up all of the time. I'm convinced that the streaming sticks are not powerful enough to handle the apps and the hdmi end of the stick just plain sucks for 4K.

HDCP Error

These are absolutely terrible for live 4K HDR content. They flash/blink when switching between camera angles to where it's unwatchable. Buy the Ultra don't waste your money. Roku support is also terrible. I've had ticket 13193917 open since 2025 to rectify this issue. They keep giving me the run around even though they are aware of this issue reported by others.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU STREAM 4K HDR

Bernie

I bought a Roku stick about 9 months ago and it already has major problems. It acted up a bit when I first got it, and over the past 9 months, it has repeatedly caused disruptions in any and all of the apps that I have on my tv. My internet signal strength is always "Excellent" but the tv has interruptions, buffering, or even an app will completely end. During these times, my laptop is unaffected. I would advise people to carefully check with people who actually use this item, but from my experience, I would not recommend a Roku Streaming Stick to anyone. I just ordered a different brand and expect much better service then what I've experienced for all of 2026.

Terrible Product

I have had my Roku streaming stick for about 6 months. For the first 4 months it was wonderful. Unfortunately for the last ~2 months it has become an exercise in frustration. Roku updated the FW and the fast forward no longer works--the video freezes while the audio properly moves forward. There is a long thread on this in Roku's community website (search for Black screen and video freeze) -- many people are experiencing this problem. I can't recommend this device until Roku fixes it. It's unfortunately, because everything else about the product is top notch.

Used to be great; now has become miserable

My Roku Streaming Stick 4K is less than 7 months old. The volume button doesn't work all the time, and now the arrow buttons are skipping over the program selections. In addition, the customer service is absent. I guess I'll go to the Amazon Fire Stick next.

Needs Work

Roku Streaming Stick 4K Streaming Media Player centered close-up of the compact matte-black HDMI stick and included slim voice remote; stick shows Roku logo and HDMI connector, remote has shortcut buttons and voice-search microphone; shown near a TV HDMI port to indicate behind-TV fit; highlights long-range Wi‑Fi receiver and up to 2x speed for fast 4K streaming with Dolby Vision and HDR10+; suitable for travel streaming on hotel TVs or secondary rooms.
