There's little not to like about this ROKU streaming device. The setup was simple, especially since I was replacing an older ROKU. I would have suggested some design changes to the remote, and since I'm using an older HD TV by LG I couldn't set the remote to control TV functions. That is all that keeps this unit from receiving five stars. Picture quality is very good, speed is good and overall it's a great streaming player.

Have had this product 1 year on March 1, 2021 and the roku works horrible. I have had more issues with it freezing my tv, imprinting screenshots on my tv (where a background picture is imprinted in the tv screen so you always see like the volume, like it broke the pixels), to it restarting itself at least four or five times a day. I file a case with Roku for warranty fix in November, Roku has yet to respond to me and I've followed up over 20xs. Pretty sad. I have a Roku 3 that has never had these kinds of problems. And Roku not responding to help me fix their bad product that's not even a year old? Wow! You've lost me as a customer for good.

Piece of crap, doesn't last a year

I love this new updated Roku device. I had to replace my older model due to streaming channels no longer compatible with it. But the features in this new model are well worth the expense. The voice remote is an awesome feature and works like a charm. Even helps me find free channels I didn't know existed. Searching for a favorite singer, or actor, is just a name call away.  Comes with ear plugs for private listening. Very easy setup, just plug in. enter password, and you are set to go. And the best part of all, Walmart had on sell for half price, so I got this upgraded model for the same price as the lower end model.

Great Roku upgrade with voice command

I'm so Happy I purchased ROKU ULTRA LT!!  I needed a way to rid myself of the $12.99  I was paying XFINITY for a DVR.   A co-worker recommended I buy this one and because I have 3 other older ROKU 3 models on my other TV's once I got this one connected all I had to do was add my WIFI NAME/PASSWORD and if you have a ROKU account associated with your email once you type your email in it detects all your apps and automatically adds them for you which is a plus I love the way my picture and sound is too, However I did have one mishap I'm using a HDMI to connect when I plugged in a spare HDMI cable I had my ROKU wasn't working until I looked at the instructions it clearly states if you are using a HDMI this ROKU requires a "PREMIUM HDMI HIGH SPEED CABLE"  which I didn't have I was able to go to my local WALMART and found one for less than $10 after hooking it up Finally I saw the ROKU screen I was worried I'd need a 4K TV I'm using a old PANASONIC 55 inch that's over 12 years old!!  I also like the screen savers too Lol for $60 bucks it's worth it Thanks Walmart!

Best Alternative to Renting a Cable Box

I'm in Love with Roku. First I bought Amazon stick, then I bought 3 Roku's and this one I kept for myself. I can go to my different apps including my Cable app with my Roku stick. Both Sticks are in my TV and I enjoy them both (Amazon

Roku has a lot of different models to choose from.  Roku LT from 2019 (this model) seems to be the least expensive, best model to choose because of the features, design and internal hardware.  There is the newer version of this model (2021) that basically is the same thing but has a slight modification that I don't feel is worth paying $20 or higher more for.  I have 3 previous models of Roku and they are still working after 5 to 10 years.  Do your research and compare the models based on what it can do.  Walmart seems to have better prices than Amazon on these but Amazon dealer listings on these models number aren't always very clear on what your buying.  The big difference on this model is the price and the year each version is produced.

The remote does NOT control a sound bar or A/V receiver.

I decided to switch to Roku after Amazon ran up $400 of prime video and music charges even though it was included in my Prime Membership.  They credited me back but who has an hour ever 3-4 months to spend fighting with then over credit?!?

The Roku seems great but for $80 you cant provide a remote that can control my a/v receiver or sound bar?  Pretty lame.

Bought this to use for my streaming media player.  The most used service is Netflix.  I was never able to get Netflix to work.  Kept getting error code ui-800-3.  I returned the Roku and will go with a different streaming media player.  The other services worked that I tried, Amazon Prime, Apple TV and many of the other free services.   I have other Roku devices in the house and they have never had a problem.

Disappointed Customer

This is a great upgrade from the Roku I bought about 10 years ago. It's easy to set up, easy to use, and has two features I particularly like: The home screen is an aquarium (very relaxing to watch) and this Roku has  a microphone feature for going directly to your favorite streaming service by saying it. I'm very happy with this product!!
