I did have to use plumbers tape at the connections to eliminate the leaking, it does not seal without it. But the tape did the trick! I have had it now a couple of months in the dry season in FL

We used a  toilet water supply hose  to connect to the water faucet. This will last longer in the sun.  We set it up and left town for a week. It worked great and kept the pool water filled to the correct level.  I wish we had bought this sooner.

Awesome!  I've had it for about a month now and the only adjustment I had to make was to put a little bit of weight on the float. I have it adjusted to come on when the water goes down about an inch. It comes on about once a day. I have an inground pool and I am gone during the day. It keeps my pump from running dry or the skimmer from getting to low. It gives me a peace of mind. I would buy another one if I needed one. It has been well worth it's money for the peace of mind.￼

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] quality was good overall but the put too thick of a washer with a screen where the hose connects.  as a result you have minimal Threads connecting and no matter how I did it it leaked as the connection.  even using a small amount of sealant and Teflon tape.  I ended up using lot of tape and sealant to stop the leak.
