This ball has been both durable and provided a lot of entertainment for 2 of my more active dogs who like to chew.  They can play tug together for quite awhile, and the ball and rope have held up well so far.

I bought this for my malinois as they are tough on toys and while nothing holds up forever this one lasted months of playtime! Eventually repetitive malinois chomps got it but I will happily get another one for how long it lasted and how much they enjoyed playing with it. The rope was great for tossing it or tugging with them and the ball really held up to punctures until the very end.

Love this toy!

I have one of these that is 4 years old! Everyone plus with it!  
This is the favorite toy that helped me with a rescue Belgian Malinois.
Thor is crazy about this toy! I hang it on a bungee, tug games, toss it down the hill and play with it in the dog pool. He loves to drop it in the pool and let it fill up with water and runs around squirting water

Multi purpose toy!

My rescue dog LOVES your rope ball. He is so rough, however, that w/i 2 days he has the rope pulled out of the ball. Maybe making the holes on each side smaller or larger knots?

Rope Ball

Needs something to prevent the knot from being pulled through the ball.  We have gone through one of them because of this reason.  Otherwise, my dog LOVES these!

Needs upgrade to prevent...

I ordered a small one of these a few years ago and it was much more solid that these newer ones. Again I have two mix breed rescues both with under bites and they must be super chewers as when the fetch this and run around with it they can easily chew through it.

I feel like these used to be made better

i loved this ball when i bought our first one a few years ago, but with the new ones we've noticed that the rope material has changed to a less durable rope.. i've bought 3 balls so far and i'm still putting the rope from our first ball(2 years ago) into the new balls because the new ropes are just not as good! pls bring back the old ropes!!!

quality changed

Puppy loves the toy but the rope quickly shredded into strings. Would have expected this to last much longer for a 10 lb pup. Would like to purchase another one but hesitant since the rope didn't last on the first one.

Fun but Rope quality isn't the best

Received on a Monday afternoon and fell apart by Wednesday morning.  My dog is NOT a heavy chewer.  He was just running around the yard with the rope in his mouth and the ball waving about.  The rope unraveled quickly and the ball fell off.  There were about a million strands and there was no way I could rebraid it.  Tried stuffing the remnants back through the ball, but it didn't work so well.  What an unfortunate waste!

Fell apart in 2 days.

A version of this ball bought a year ago lasted a year, with a good quality rope. Now they've gone cheap and used a fragile rope that my Retriever destroyed in 5 minutes and poses a choking hazard. Buy this ball only if you intend to replace the rope with thick Paracord yourself.
