This turned out better than I thought it would. I wanted something that would add some privacy to my windows without blocking the sunlight. I added 2 pictures, one in the morning and one at night. It was very easy to apply!

This is great stuff. It's super easy to use and looks awesome; quite a bit better than I expected. This window film is also thicker than I was expecting, which is nice. The directions say to cut the film an inch larger than needed, but for me an inch was too much so I cut mine 1/4" too big and that worked fine. The hardest part is getting your measurements correct, so you should definitely cut it a tad too big, and use a razor blade to trim the excess once it's on the window. (I cut a piece of cardboard to the correct size first, and put that on the rolled-out film to use as a pattern, like in sewing. Then you can just trace the size you want onto the film with a marking pen.) All in all this is a great product! It's way easier to use that the old adhesive window film and it looks great.

Wonderful product. Inexpensive but classy looking.

Perfect for my ground floor apartment to keep the natural light in my apartment but still get privacy. I added it on all my windows and even patio door and I keep the blinds open and you can't see specific details which is perfect for me! It also allows some cool refraction during specific parts of the day which just illuminates my living room. 10/10!

Great rental-friendly product!

When I first took the film out of the tube, it almost look like a shower curtain liner. Wasn't impressed but decided to put it up on my new door with clear windows. Wow! Super easy to install with a razor knife and clings to the windows. Looking through inside or out you only see color, nothing distinctive. The best part is it adds a lot of light along with privacy.

Privacy Film

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The window film didn't look like it would totally block the view but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it concealed the view. You can still see light and shadows but definitely not a clear image.

It was a little tricky to put up. The directions indicate to cut one inch larger than the area needed, which I did. A thin plastic film needs to be peeled off before applying it to a clean window/glass that has been misted with water. Getting it on there was a bit cumbersome but not terribly complicated. However, once on, there was a one-inch overhang, so I trimmed it to fit the window. Do not do that. The film shrinks once it is dry and I now have a gap around the frame. Had I followed directions it would have been perfect.

Follow the instructions

Applied easily, can remove if needed easily with no damage, looks great and provides the privacy needed. We put it on our patio door that is glass without a curtain or blind, still get plenty of light through but nobody can see through it from the outside.

Wal assc wife. of course it's a window cling. not sure why everybody complains that they don't stay on if you follow the directions they will stay on. you need to make sure the window is clean. you saturate the window with water. cut it to size we used a razor blade. pull the film off. we used plastic putty knives to remove the air bubbles. easy peasy. 
the only thing I wish is that it was less transparent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to put up, doesn't block as much light as I would hope. I know it's transparent, but I wanted it to disperse some light from a picture window that I can't reach. It helps a bit but not enough. Doesn't make rainbows like other kinds I have.

We had a new front door installed that has clear glass panes. We wanted privacy so we purchased this. It reminds me of a shower curtain in thickness and texture. 

Easy to use. We like that it is able to be repositioned as it is more like a peel and stick vinyl. 

There was a bit of a plastic smell in the beginning but my husband aired it out in the garage for about a week.

Works and looks good

Applying this was pretty simple; I followed the directions and it went on without difficulty. The material feels quality.

However, it fails at actually blocking vision through the window. I installed it on an exterior window in a shower and, while it did decrease visibility through the window, is still uncomfortably clear looking either in or out. It doesn't provide actual privacy.

I was so surprised  that the film doesn't seem to stay in place when I followed the directions exactly. I am still having to get the film to stick to the corners of my windows and I am going to go ahead and glue them to the frame and then decide if I should remove or continue further.
