Hands down my favorite lipstick (and growing up in dance,  I have worn a lot of lipstick.) This is the first time I have experienced a perfect shade match to my lip color, and the texture of this is perfect. A matte that feels smooth, and is heavily pigmented. My lips feel super hydrated from it instead of dried out like some of my other lipsticks do. 

The pencil sharpening function is a bit… weird, but I find that I only have to do it every couple days.
In other words, would I prefer a twisty cap? 
Yes. 
Is this product worth the extra step of sharpening? 
Absolutely. 

Quick tip: sometimes, if I wear the product all day, it can start drying out after several hours and feel cakey. This lipstick rejuvenates quickly with a little dab of lipbalm (or their lip treatment which is also luxurious.)

I just purchased my 1st one in the color  I DO and I'm obsessed!  I will definitely be buying other shades I like!  I wish other people would realize it's a lip crayon that you can sharpen. I think they would give it a better review if they did.

So smooth and buttery !

I love this product!  It's matte but not dry and first kiss is a perfect color for fair skin!  The sharpener had me stumped but I bought the rose all day sharpener and there is a ring adapter that you pull out of the larger hole and it fits the lip stick!

I bought this and I love it so much, it's perfect for a Valentine's Day gift and its so cute I just got it a day ago and it's my new signature lip!

This is the best!

It took me months to find a sharpener for this size lipstick, and I'm posting here for everyone who has been having the same struggle. Anastasia Beverly Hills has a 3 size sharpener that fits perfectly!! I love this lipstick and I'm so glad I can actually use it now.

Now that I found a sharpener I have no complaints

Buy their sharpener. Even though it has 2 holes, it's actually a 3 in 1 sharpener. Remove the plastic ring that sits above the bigger sharpener in order to accommodate the lipstick. Sharpens easily once you know how.

How to SHARPEN....

I bought this about a week ago and I'm worried I already have to purchase it again! I didn't realize that what you saw was what you got! There's no way to push the color out further like a traditional lip stick. Love this color and this particular product, but I'm not sure I'm going to keep purchasing! The amount you get is equivalent to a free sample

Great color and product, not enough too last

Physicians Formula marketing department, I enjoy many of your products, but this one was a miss! The product itself is lovely, but who decided to only offer ¼ inch of it (what you see as the tip of the pencil)?! What deceptive packaging! I thought there was a whole pencil worth of product that could be raised by twisting the bottom. I never would have bought it if I knew there was so little to use. I've enjoyed it for a week, and it's basically done now. You've turned a loyal customer into a frustrated skeptic. Not a good move for your brand. Sorry! I'd like a refund,

Deceptive packaging!

I bought three of these and I love the colors. But, you cannot sharpen them with any normal sharpener. They have a plastic outer plastic coating and wood under that.  The sharpened pencil is SHARP on the casing. Please repackage it. It is a good product in terrible casing!
