This doll should be on everyone's shelf because the significance in history. The doll is definitely an inspiring women collection piece. Because of this purchase, I am now looking for more inspiring women dolls.  After buying this doll, I went ahead and purchased the Ella Fitzgerald and First Black 40th Anniversary dolls as well. Also, thank you for the reduced price.  It was marked down from about $30 to $20. Although it is worth the $30, I bought it here at Walmart online and returned the one I paid full price from a competitor. Keep the dolls coming!

I really like this doll. Its a historic icon figure for black history. Rosa Parks was the advocate for black woman, like me and also for the younger girls.

Beautiful Rosa Parks

I really like this series of Inspiring Women from Barbie/Mattel.  The Rosa Parks doll is perfect for this series as her bravery to refuse to move from her seat on a bus sparked the Civil Rights movement.  This doll is great for collectors like me and can work for parents who want to incorporate play with learning.  The doll is a very nice likeness to the real Rosa Parks. She is dressed in the fashion of the late fifties. She is poseable and comes with a stand for display.

Mrs Parks was always impeccably dressed as she represented so many women, families and people of the world in her quest for civil rights.  Barbie has captured so much in the choice of her attire.
She was boycott ready even in the cold months until the movement achieved its goal!

Had to get this doll not only because I am an avid Barbie collector but because Mrs. Rosa parks was a Civil Rights activist and Icon until her passing. This doll has fabulous detail from her clothing, eye glasses to her shoes. Would definitely recommend.

I received my Rosa Park Barbie Doll, and it was better than I could hand ever imagine. So much details, the doll looks exactly like Mrs. Parks during the bus boycott!

I bought this for my little sister. I wanted her to be able see and hold a doll that is inspired by a woman that accomplished so much by, what we consider today, a simple act of defiance. The clothes, the hair, and the packaging are all quality.

In rememberance

She arrived in the broken package she was placed in wet from the rain!  I don't have the time to ship her back because I travel.  Disappointed!!
