I've been putting the T-6, 5/40 in my '09 Yamaha 1900cc air cooled Raider for about 6 years now as a winter weight oil.  It starts a lot better than with the 20/50 and it's been running great for years with absolutely no oil burning.  Bike has 50,000 miles on it now.  Great friggin' product. Love it.

Fabulous winter motorcycle oil

Used T6 in my 2007 FZ1 since I bought it used about four years ago. I rev this bike to the Max,  never had a single engine problem, doesn't run hot, uses zero oil in between changes. I understand that it shears easily in a wet clutch situation (as do many oils) so I change it as I reach about 1k or 1.2k miles that way the engine always gets fresh oil. It's cheap and not that hard to change oil and filter. I only ride for fun so I change it maybe a couple of times a year.

Best bang for your Motorcycle Buck.

I have been using this oil in my 1998 Honda F6 Valkyrie Tourer for 6 years now, and have had no issues with clutch operation.  Even at full throttle with the big 6 cylinder engine, no clutch slippage.  Also, the notorious Valkyrie top gear whine was a lot quieter immediately after the first oil change.

It's also priced a lot cheaper than the competing oils, a nice added bonus.  I don't hesitate to change the oil when I should, when the price is about half of other high end or OEM oils.  It's available at many local retailers, so, it's easy to obtain.

I wish it was available in other weights like 5W20.  I would use it my 2010 F150 5.4L if I could, because it's really not that much more expensive than conventional oil.

Works great in my motorcycle!

We run it in gasoline-powered endurance race cars now. Same protection as Mobil1 0-40 we used to run, but way cheaper and more available. Once had a car come in with a badly warped head, no coolant, and boiling oil (coolant hose burst and the driver didn't notice) - over 10 minutes out on track without coolant! Still kept the rods in, no hard parts got damaged. Highly recommended! I use it in street diesels and my motorcycles, too - also works great there.

Excellent all-around oil for heavy-duty use

I've used the Rotella T6 5w-40 for years and years in motorcycles with wet clutches, trucks, and tractors and had no problems.  Most notably I've used it in: 2004 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100 (wet clutch) and put 30k+ miles on it and I used it in my 2011 F-150 for it's entire life (bought new).  The F-150 is impressive because it had the 3.5L Ecoboost, the first year of that engine, and I put over 218k miles on it with nothing done to the engine except oil changes and spark plug changes.  I also use this in my tractors, I used it in my 2002 Dodge 2500 with the Cummins (bought new, sold at 168k miles), and other vehicles.  I love this oil.

Zero problems with this oil!

I think that this one of the best oils on the market for trucks like mine as well as all of the new ones being built today. Why should we not use all of the newer oils to make our older Diesels last longer, if they help the new trucks, they should really help our older trucks that have some age on them and are still being used every day, for work, pleasure driving an just to have around. Mine has 268000 miles on it and I hope to put a Million Miles on it, if I live that long.

Great Oil for my 2002 Ford Super Duty with the 7.3

I have been running T6 in my Kawasaki touring bike for over 45'000 miles and does it ever work great. My engine runs very hot and there have been no oil breakdown and no clutch slippage even pulling my touring trailer. The price sure beats the ten dollar a quart "motorcycle oils". It has the JASO MA rating that Kawasaki requires

Motorcycle oil?

Anyone with a Ford 6.0 PowerStroke who lives in a climate where it gets below freezing knows the engine makes knocking noises and is loud & unresponsive when the engine is started in cold weather if the block heater has not been  plugged in.  

With synthetic Rotella T6, though, the engine is much quieter, and does not require as much warm-up time as compared to using conventional oil. Even if one uses a block heater at home, most people don't have that luxury to keep their truck plugged in while at work.  It sure makes the drive home quieter and faster, not having to let the engine warm up as much before hitting the road

Much better in cold weatehr

I use it in a 2007 Honda Rancher ES and it always starts right up like a champ. No slippage nothing I can't complain. I drive this bike hard and change the oil once per year or longer. Checked it the other day after like 13 months still looks ok could use a change so I'm going to do it. I'll probably use Rotella T6 again. It seems to be good stuff.

It's been working.

I have a Kawasaki 1500, model year 2000. I switched to this oil because someone with a similar motorcycle tried it and liked it. Major reason for me switching to this is because it was a full synthetic and very reasonably priced compared to other full synthetic motorcycle oils. I've put on 2000 miles since my oil change and I have started to notice severe clutch slippage. At first it was barely noticeable but as of right now, I have a hard time getting on the interstate without it slipping. Now, whether it is due to the recent oil change or some other Factor, I'm not sure if I would recommend this oil for anyone to use in a wet clutch motorcycle or not.

Motorcycle use

Been trying for months to get moreT6. Luckily I had enough for my last oil change but I like keeping it on hand. I can not find why and when the shortage will end. Next change I will be looking for other brands
