Boots

I throw the javelin. I sprained my ankle some time ago.  I needed a boot that acted as a ankle brace when I throw. The boots give me a chance to keep throwing and when I am not throwing I can move my ankles for rehab. The hard leather works great plus they look great. The laces pull the leather close to my legs.

Well constructed boots

I bought a pair of these 30 years ago at the local surplus store. The foam insert turned to goo and could not clean them up. So I bought a replacement pair but did not use the foam insert that came with them. Bought the rubber type this time. Very comfortable once broke in.

Rothco 5095 Men's Combat Boots

I've been in the market for combat boots for years, and I couldn't find any that were comfortable, and looked like the real thing. Well, these are the real thing! I feel tough when I wear them, yet they are still fashionable. And they are relatively comfortable. I think once I break them in, they will be softer and more comfortable.

They are very nice boots but they are a bit on the small side even though my son has a big foot.

Very disappointed Toe section is cheep plastic not leather and tore very easily. Soles cams off and  wore out very quickly after I glued them back on. Not close to the quality of my issued boots. Will not buy them again!
