The steam technology and 300 micro holes put my old iron to shame. The sole plate easily glides across every fabric surface. Since I am primarily ironing cotton, I’m operating my Rowenta Access Steam Iron at the highest setting with steam, and it has performed well and met my expectations. I am very happy with this product, and I look forward to many years of ironing with my Rowenta Access Steam Iron.  Note: 1-You lay the iron flat on the sole plate to fill the water reservoir. 2-It can be challenging to see if you’ve reached or surpassed the water fill line unless in bright light. I wish it were easier to see the water. 3-The vertical steam feature is strong and works well, but it is not a continuous stream. You get one powerful burst of steam with each push of the steam button. 4-The dial could stand to be a bit easier to turn

It heats up quickly and the steam is strong enough to get wrinkles out without having to go over the same spot multiple times. It glides smoothly and feels sturdy and well made. I really like the narrow tip because it makes it easy to get into small spaces, especially when I am ironing toddler clothes. The before and after difference is very noticeable. You can clearly see how wrinkled something was before compared to how smooth it looks after. Overall it is reliable and makes the whole process quicker and easier.

I love the size and functionality when saving, I love the cable and the length it has that makes it easier to iron, the color and design of the iron makes it very cute and ergonomic to use. It is highly recommended for everyone and I know that I will recommend it a lot besides that the price of this and other plates of the same brand are made of an excellent price.

The multiple temperature settings are helpful as each setting is specific to a different type of setting. I also like the fact that I can choose whether or not I want steam during the ironing phase. In past experiences I have found iron's that claim to have a steam function end up either producing the tiniest puff of steam and just leak water out making you have to change your planned wardrobe since the article is soaking wet. This performed nicely and gave a good jet of steam that actually penetrated the fibers of the clothes removing wrinkles without having to put as much direct heat, which is great for synthetics or fibers that are delicate. It also irons smoothly when you actually want to apply some direct heat and straighten out those tough wrinkles. Overall I found this to have a great design and perform exactly to my expectations. This is the best iron I have come across so far and I will continue to use it far into the future.

Equal Parts Steamer and Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start with positives: This iron is beautiful! It looks sleek, easy to set up, not too heavy and heats up quickly. It’s very easy to fill with water and I love that you can switch the steam function on and off super easily. On the highest setting (cotton/linen) it works well to get out smaller wrinkles. 

Negatives: If your fabric is harshly folded, it won’t get the crease completely out, even on the highest settle, 

Overall a good iron to use for home sewing projects.

A good sleek iron

The plastic door for the water intake is made cheaply. It's hard to open and just like the one on the Rowenta I am replacing, which broke.

New Rowenta

I didn’t like it from the beginning because you can’t see how much water you are putting in the reservoir and we always over flow the opening. Also if you don’t put it on steam it doesn’t take the wrinkles out. It tends to stick to clothes which is a problem. I have bought and recommended ROWENTA to many but not DW23 orange  accessteam 1700 watt I did buy another ROWENTA AND I HAVE HAD ABOUT 6 so far

Wrong color for this iron can’t fill without overflow

I bought this iron today when my 20 year old iron died.  After reading instructions I let it preheat and started ironing.  All it does is spit water all over the clothes . Everytime you stand it up it releases a cloud of steam and water runs down the plate.
