Thank you for being delicate with my merchandise  this is my second one the last one lasted 7 years and the only reason why it didn't last longer don't put vinegar or rubbing alcohol in the water chamber it will ruin it! Don't ask me how I know. Only use distilled water

I leave my iron and ironing board up 24/7 in my sewing room. I had my previous Rowena about 12+ years. This new one heats up quickly when I need to do a little pressing on clothes or on a seam of a new garment. I do like the cork handle and hope it stands up to my expectations of comfort for years to come. I love coming into my sewing room and seeing how this new one shines and sparkles.

Out with the old, in with the new

Love the iron except 1 thing! The cork handle! I don't think it will last more than 6 months to a year. Then, how do I replace it?

I have owned a Rowenta Steam Generator for 20 years.  It finally failed.  I ordered this one, and I LOVE it.  Glad the old one failed.  It was a good one.  I like that you can see the water level in the new one.

The steam station is exactly as I hoped it would be. Happy with my purchase.

The product looks and feels like quality. I have never used it before so just decided to give it a try and so far it hasn't disappointed me.

My Opinion

Great concept. But a few things make it difficult to use. The dials are the same color as the plastic and it makes it hard to read the settings. The steam hose could benefit from an extra 3-4 inches of length.  With the says, we would consider buying another. The upside/downside is my last Rowenta iron lasted over 15 years. Which is why we bought another only this time with more steam capacity.

Why we love it despite a few little things.

The only negative so far with this iron is, it doesn't have a constant steam option. You either have to pull the trigger underneath the handle or press the button on top to get a shot of stain for however, long you hold the buttons. The button underneath the handle is easily triggered by accident when moving the iron around and can cause Burns so it takes a lot of training to not accidentally hit that button when moving the iron around the cloth or ironed item and having your hand nearby straightening or smoothing wrinkles

Watch the trigger for steam

Unfortunately my iron was DOA. After turning it on the first time, I was met with a blinking red water light and the power immediately switched off. The sole plate never got warm either. Funny thing is I bought this iron to replace my 3 year old pro steam model since the boiler stopped working on that model ( heat works, but no steam). I'll be returning this new model and trying another company.
