it's not super tall, but because it micro-cuts, the bin can hold a lot, so the size is more than enough for typical day to day needs

just what i was looking for

Smaller and quieter than I expected-makes paper sheets into confetti size pieces. Cannot evaluate for office use, but for typical home use seems to do the job very we'll.

It is just my husband and I ,  I thought it may be too small.  It works just fine.  Have shredded a good bit without any issue.

This is exactly what I was looking for.  It shreds like confetti.  It would take a professional to put all the paper back together again.  It is small and compact.  I was concerned that it would not be large enough for my needs and thought I might have to empty the bin more often.  Not true.  I've only emptied it once since I have owned it.  It takes longer to fill since the paper is shredded so small. Having been a recent victim of identity theft, I didn't want to take any chances.  Although, I had a shredder that lasted for years, it finally broke.  This one, is even better.  I would recommend this product.

Exactly what I was looking for

Love my new Royal MC 500 paper shredder - micro cut.  It works as described.  My old shredder cut in strips and I was always afraid someone could piece the document together.  With this shredder the documents are shredded in tiny pieces impossible for anyone to put together. Love it, Love it, Love it.  Also price was considerably lower than other shredders I have seen other online sites. Plus shipping was free and fast -- received it within two day!  Thank you Walmart for taking care of us seniors who are on a tight budget!

I dare you to reassemble any paper that has gone through this shredder! Never going to happen!
