These pencils are in beautiful shades, go on the paper/canvas nicely and give great results!
The only negative I have, and I guess it was my own fault for not reading more carefully, is that they are not the standard pencil length! They are half size! I will have to reorder sooner than expected, which I guess was their purpose...lol

Be aware they are short!

I paint cards, portraits for my friends, family and Church families for their birthdays and anniversaries or just for encouragement. I use these colored watercolor pencils when I paint portraits for fine details of their faces, hands, etc. I have much better control with the pencils than I do with watercolor or acrylic paint for such detail work. I would recommend this product for it's low price and fine pigment.

I haven't used the Waterproof Pencils as of yet but, I am looking forward to using them soon. The pencils are nice, the colors are the same as the coloring pencils. I like that I can use them as coloring pencils as well as with water when I want the paint look. I think these pencils will color flowers and grass very well. I will purchase these pencils again in the future.

Quality set

These pencils are, next to acrylics, my new favorite way to art journal. They are easy to use by coloring on the paper and then wetting a brush and going over your design. This is a pack of 24 watercolor pencils, including black.. There is also a white pencil but it seems almost useless when it comes to lightening something that you've drawn. I would have preferred another color instead, though some people might really enjoy using the white pencil for other uses.

You can also wet a brush and then touch it to the tip of your pencil to get some color, though you won't get enough to fill up the brush. Another option is to use a sharp edge of a knife and shave off tiny specks of the color over your page. Then you can take a spray bottle to mix the colors around.

One word of caution: these aren't professional artist quality watercolor pencils. While these are more affordable, they aren't going to be something you'll want to use if you have aspirations of selling your work. They are a great beginner set for those just getting into watercolor pencils. One method I've found of enhancing the color is by using the pencils and coloring using a water brush. Then I go over the image in certain sections with higher quality watercolors to add some extra depth. This is a great way to save money. I would suggest using them on at least 140lb watercolor paper and nothing much thinner than that.

If you're wanting to get started using watercolors or watercolor pencils, I suggest this set. They are good for the price and since I use them for art journaling, they are great for my needs.

Great for Art Journaling!

Though I placed my order for this set of water color pencils on the Walmart 
site, they were sold by a marketplace seller.

What I received was a set of water color pencils same brand as what I ordered
but there were some differences.  

My set are all light blue with the individual colors featured at the end of the 
pencils.  I expected them to be a solid color for each individual color.

The package that they came in was a sturdy clear plastic box  instead of the
light blue cardboard box with the flower on it that I expected. 

The shape I expected was rounder but they are shaped like standard pencils.
Surprisingly they fit the spaces for the art set that I purchase them for  to replace
the original colored pencils.

Watercolor Pencils

I use these pencils like regular colored pencils, and the results are so beautiful. The colors come out bright and bold, without the faded looked that regular colored pencils have. They almost look like markers. However, the wood is weak, and when you sharpen it, the tip breaks easily. You have to leave it blunt and still use it fairly lightly and go over and over with it to get it filled it to its full effect. But it's worth it.

Great results, but quality could be better

The box was so flimsy that I received this item in deplorable condition. The points on the pencils were broken. The pencils were loose in the package because the box is so flimsy that they just got out during shipping. I had to sharpen about half of them. From there on Inhad to reinforce the Box with cardstock and double tape just to retain the pencils inside it. The pencils themselves are working fine. They are true water color pencils which is why I bought them in the first place.
