[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has all the colors you could need. Everything is organized and easy to take along with me. I will buy this set again.

I bought this set primarily for the brushes and the paints. But there is much more to this set, which I did not even notice at the time. In addition to the sturdy, finished wood carrying case, there is a sketching pencil, eraser, and pencil sharpener. There is a palette knife; although it is plastic. There is a small plastic palette and two small boards and a small guide for beginniners. Linseed oil is also included. The only item missing would be some turpenoid, which I bought later on. But if you have someone, a teenager or adult, who is painting in acrylics, this would be a great introductory set to oils. I had been looking at this set for a couple of years and bought it now because it was on sale at an irresistible price. But even at full price, I think this is a wonderful set.

Would Make a Wonderful Gift

The paints work very well. Has a great selection of paints to start with and the brushes work well enough to not cause much frustration. This is a we;; thought out set and has everything you need to get started/ The instruction book included is well written and clear with instructions. I highly recommend this product for a beginner to oils. I ripped the plastic out and put the paints in a resealable plastic bag and used the case doe something else. I'm strange like that. It's very durable and was difficult to get out! LOL! Absolutely worth every penny!
