I recently purchased the Rubbermaid trash can, and it has exceeded my expectations! The build quality feels strong and durable — it doesn't feel flimsy at all. I'm really impressed with the Rubbermaid Dual Action Swing Top Trash Can! The dual-action lid makes throwing things away quick and easy, and I love that it swings smoothly and closes back on its own to help contain odors. It's sturdy, well-made, and feels durable enough for everyday use. The design is sleek and fits nicely in my kitchen without taking up too much space. It's also easy to clean and keeps everything looking neat and tidy. Such a practical upgrade that makes a daily task more convenient!

Sleek, Smart, and Super Convenient!

We use these in our Air BNBs and…. They work most of the time. I feel the plastic is a little light.
Standard trash bags fit fine. 
What I don't like is they are hard to clean and stain. The tops come off, the way they flip allows slobs who throw stuff into them to miss and the garbage slides down the back outside. 
They are ugly.

Basic

The product may be great, but it went on some kind of journey getting here and the box was beat up (FedEx).  The lid was in two pieces and we had to noodle out how the springs fit on.

So the shipping on this item was great. Came very fast and without issue. The only problem is that I was sent TWO garbage cans and neither one of them had a top....not a huge deal I guess but I ordered it for the specific purpose of being able to close my garbage can. Other than that, okay purchase. I'm only saying “yes” for recommendation because Rubbermaid is actually a great brand and I would hope that they remember to actually include the tops next time.

No tops

Not big enough or tall enough. Springs are not secure constantly comes apart and you must put together again. I have had to put the lid back in place several times just by closing and opening lid while placing garbage in trash. Not a good brand. Do not buy.

Flimsy and unstable lid

The container bottom is the perfect size for the area I have.  My frustration and dislike comes from the fact that I did not receive the spring top or any top for that matter.  This defeats the purpose of keeping the dog out of the trash and ordering on line so I don't have to go into the store (which I have not)  As I read again the item specs the top and bottom does come as a set

Frustrated without the top

This is a cheap, flimsy trash can. The lid was broken when it arrived a day late as well as missing the lid liner thing so the lid doesn't even stay on the can. I would not pay $10 for this let alone $25 ! Absolutely returning for refund and absolutely do not recommend it to anyone!

Not worth the money at all!
