Can be snug, but also loose depending on brand and size.

Closes with pedal feature quietly and securely.

Has a slim profile that fits well in kitchens.

Not much to say about it but I do really like the can, especially for the price compared to others with similar features. The only downside I can even think of is that the lid is a bit difficult to keep open when you want it to and will shut itself. This can be a bit frustrating when trying to put a new bag in but I don't really view it as that much of a problem.

Great garbage can for the money

walmart.com

I really like that the opening is much larger than our previous trash can, so almost no splatter.
I also like that I no longer have to tie the bag corner for a tighter fit. This bin has a ledge on each corner to hold the bag securely.
It's nice and light too. And I like to slow close lid.
Great price!

Love it!

This is a great garbage can. You don’t have to put your hands in it and you don’t have to see the garbage bag around the edges. I was gonna get an electronic one, but I just didn’t want that thing opening every time I walked past it. This is beautiful and for some reason it feels like it holds more garbage although it uses the same 13 gallon bag. I love it, you can’t go wrong by getting this garbage can.

You need this garbage can.

Love the corners for holding the bag , it's more sturdy than other trash cans I have owned. The foot pedal is larger. The trash can offers a slim design while retaining enough space for your garage.

Great design

Love this garbage can. I totally recommend it. Lid works well along with the foot pedal. You won't be disappointed.

Great garbage can

I wanted a smaller profile can to fit my space. Very durable and holding up great. Value for the money without spending a lot. Would recommend. The lid opens and closes easily. I use it everyday in my kitchen.

Quality for the money

I looked and looked and looked
For a trash can that would fit in my kitchen and not cost an arm and a leg. This Rubbermaid Trash Can has turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy, looks
Nice, pedal works well, 13 gallon trash bag fits perfectly. The lid closes softly however it doesn't stay open by itself
But for $40 or $50 less in price who cares!

This is the best PLASTIC trash can I've ever used. With three cats who can open a hands free automatic trash can simply with movement, and fall in, I love this hands free FOOT PEDAL version. Its sturdy. Great size. It has a built in feature that secures your trash bags and is easy to use. It has a matte charcoal finish but I decoupaged mine with jungle leaves and tropical flowers and a colorful butterfly that made it it fit right in with my home decor. Love it! Great product!

Buy it! You'll love it!

You need to use the pull string bags others won't work. No internal bin so if a bag leaks it is going to get nasty to clean. Solid external plastic. Doesn't feel cheap but does feel like it's missing a piece that would be well worth the extra money when considering your purchase.

Not great

Average

Very cheap, when you step in the pedal to open the lid the entire can tips, it's too top heavy.
