Can be snug, but also loose depending on brand and size.

I really like that the opening is much larger than our previous trash can, so almost no splatter.
I also like that I no longer have to tie the bag corner for a tighter fit. This bin has a ledge on each corner to hold the bag securely.
It's nice and light too. And I like to slow close lid.

Not much to say about it but I do really like the can, especially for the price compared to others with similar features. The only downside I can even think of is that the lid is a bit difficult to keep open when you want it to and will shut itself. This can be a bit frustrating when trying to put a new bag in but I don't really view it as that much of a problem.

Great garbage can for the money

This is a great garbage can. You don’t have to put your hands in it and you don’t have to see the garbage bag around the edges. I was gonna get an electronic one, but I just didn’t want that thing opening every time I walked past it. This is beautiful and for some reason it feels like it holds more garbage although it uses the same 13 gallon bag. I love it, you can’t go wrong by getting this garbage can.

I wanted a smaller profile can to fit my space. Very durable and holding up great. Value for the money without spending a lot. Would recommend. The lid opens and closes easily. I use it everyday in my kitchen.

Quality for the money

I previously owned a battery-operated sensor trashcan but lost the batteries and the piece to cover them but decided to buy this one and I have nothing bad to say about it. The lid eventually closes on it owns and fits a lot of trash.

Would have given it 5 stars but didn’t because I had to remove the lid and install the  lift rod myself (which took me some time to do). Thankfully the rod was included in the box.  Now, the lid works correctly when stepped on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to put together. Feels nice. Is comparable to my more expensive trash can. I like the foot pedal for when my hands are full. I don’t notice any smells emanating. There is one large design flaw though. You have to FIGHT to get a standard garbage bag on here. It’s so tight and I’m afraid I’ll end up ripping the bag.
