Hypothesis, a couple of months ago to replace my old well-loved cracking container.I was using to pack salads for my lunch at work.It makes very nice, large salad to fill up the belly of the middle-aged man who needs to eat the healthy foods.I was happy enough with it like quickly bought a second one for when the first is in the wash.

Very good seal in perfect size for a large personal salad

Great for packing a lunch salad

These containers are great. I use them for meal prepping. When I make large batches of meat sauces, I freeze them in these containers. They stack well and meals come together quickly.

Great Rubbermaid Containers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I travel for work and always bring along my Rubbermaid containers. They're great for bringing leftovers, making salads, holding a sandwich till lunch, etc. The seal is tight and proper meaning you can fill em with liquids and shake away if you're into that sort of thing.

Where the rubber meets the road…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. Keeps food fresh and air tight. Have only washed in dishwasher 1 time and it has done great. Have not reheated food in it though. I think it will last a long time. The size is super useful. Not too big or small.

Excellent product and great size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These rubbermaid storage containers are very thick and easy to seal. My husband and children always have trouble getting a good seal on storage containers but this one is so easy that I don't have to check on the seal when they put food away.

Thick and Easy to Seal

I have an older version of this item (several years) that has a deep burgundy color, and I needed two more since I somehow misplaced one my older ones. These are great storage containers which I use when making tuna fish salad (I use two cans of tuna with onions, sweet pickles and hard boiled eggs with mayonnaise. They store very good in the refrigerator. The cover seals in the contents of the food items very nicely to retain the freshness of your food items.

Excellent Food storage container By Rubbermaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received two different sizes they are great for putting anything away in the fridge or on the counter

Loving these

I bought his bigger brother to use for marinades. Turns out I didn't do my math and it was way bigger than I would need for that purpose. So I bought this one and I couldn't be happier. The rubber seal holds in the smell of the marinade so it doesn't overpower my fridge. The product is easy to clean up with Dawn dish soap. Small enough to fit in the cupboard. At the price I couldn't be happier and I know With it being a Rubbermaid it will last for a long time.

Perfect size for meat marinade.

Well now, this is not the size I ordered, but Rubbermaid AR my preferred plastic storage containers. In fact, the containers I am replacing are over ten years old. They still work great, love the lids.. But my set looks used, very used, and so I think it's time to find the right replacement. One thing that bothers me is that I have no way of using them for anything else, but garbage is just not the right way of disposing my old set. That does bother me. I be returning this set and continue using what I have, until I figure out on the right way of hdisposingof the old set.

Brand new and didn't seal! I burped it and had to position it on its side with a salad with slight amount of liquid, it leaked nearly all the liquid in to the ice chest and covered anything sitting on the bottom. I gave it away and won't ever purchase it again.

Rubbermaid BIG FAIL

Rubbermaid 4.92- and 7.81-Cup EasyStore Square Food Storage Containers with Lids, 2 Pack, showing two clear plastic containers stacked with red SecureGrip lids designed for easy stacking and space-saving in kitchen organization and meal prep.
