Dear Rubbermaid Customer Care, I'm writing to report a serious safety incident involving a Rubbermaid Brilliance Glass 2-Cup Round Storage Container. On Wednesday August 20th, 2026, after approximately30 seconds of microwave heating, the container shattered unexpectedly. I have safely microwaved other Rubbermaid glass containers for years without issue, including from frozen, which makes this failure particularly concerning. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the glass broke during normal use, and it created a risk of injury. I would like to understand whether this issue has been reported previously, whether there are any safety advisories or recalls related to this product, and what next steps you recommend.
