This step stool is sturdy and stable, easy to fold for storage and can double as a chair if needed. It's a workhorse… I had one for years, it disappeared on a recent job site, so this one replaces it. This is great also when washing my SUV, no worries about tipping over and scratching the vehicle but it is also very stable on an inclined driveway.

I received the stepstool.  Something was wrong. It  had 1 of the 4 rubber foot pads missing. I googled it up, and sure enough other people experienced the same thing. Hard to believe between Rubbermaid quality control and Walmart warehouse to pass along a defective product that is visibly unsafe to use. And no, Rubbermaid apparently does not offer replacement rubber pads. Make sure yours is OK and take care of the pads.

The product when in tack is 5 star and Walmart took it back without question which is 5 star!

I actually purchased this step stool for my daughter, I've had one for years and when she got her own apartment this is the only one she wanted.  We like it because it's so sturdy and simple to fold and unfold - no button or levers to push or pull.  I was surprised at how hard it was to find, was afraid it had been discontinued.

Best Step Stool

Bought this step stool to replace a 3 step aluminum step ladder. I never liked standing on the aluminum ladder next to my truck, it was unstable and I knew one slip up and there's a nice scratch. This step stool is stable, has a nice platform and seems to be very well made. I highly recommend this product.

Rock Solid

This is the second one I have purchased and am just as pleased as I was with the first.  It is very light weight yet very sturdy.  The top step is wide enough for you to feel comfortable standing on it.,  I have never had a problem with the first one I just moved it to the camper.  I use it instead of the steps that are on the camper.  The stool is more stable and easier to use.  Just fold them up set inside camper and off you go!  I just wish Wal-Mart would carry these in the store again. They have a very reasonable price and are so handy to have in the house.  They would sell a lot more of them is they would put back in the store!

this is my work tool five days a week, 5 hours a day. i can't make it with out it, i haba k problem.

this step feels very secure!
past steps or ladders for indoor use felt flimsy or had narrow steps.  im much more comfortable with this set.

Folding kitchen steps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I needed for my newly-renovated clothes closet.  I am now able to reach the shelves at the top with ease.  This is also ser-friendly and comforting instead of a wooden stool.

bought it for the size of the feet. feet are big enough to not sink thru the grass in Florida's typically sandy soil while washing the roof of my Honda Odyssey van.

great stool for anyone

I love these steps as they help me reach my uppermost cupboards, but then then fold up
and are out of sight behind my center work station. Being short, they come in handy in many places around the house.

I am 265 lbs and this thing does not seem like it will hold up long with this type of load.
It shifts or "settles" every time I get on it.
Feels like I am going to fall and I verify that the stools step is fully engaged after unfolding it.
Might work out for someone with a lighter load ;-)
