I have been using LUNCH BLOX for my (now) 6 & 4.5 year olds for over two years. I have the original sets that I purchased, and they are still in good shape. They seal well, but are still fairly easy to open (my younger daughter need help sometimes when she was 2.5). So far, they have been leak-proof for saucy or juicy foods. For kids, the middle "side" size is most useful, so I just purchased two more.

I bought the Salad Kit - it has been great so far. I love how easy it makes bringing a salad for lunch - the tray makes it easy to keep the 'crunchies' separate from the rest of the salad so they don't get soggy.

Awesome kit

These containers have some features that put them above the competition.  I use the 1-cup and the 1/2 cup "sauce" containers to pack lunches that go into a backpack.  First, these sizes are great.  The smaller ones are perfect for a sensible portion of yogurt, and the larger ones hold plenty of an entree for a desk worker ;-).  I love that the foot of a filled container snaps into the lid of its bottom neighbor, and the seals are pretty good.  They will leak water if placed sideways, but here is the greatest part: they don't have to go sideways!  Other bento-type lunch containers are flat and have to load sideways into a backpack.  This means leakage.  These guys go in stacked upright, so no leakage.  Brilliant.  Well made and well worth the money.

Best lunch containers for us

My lunchblox container for salads cracked its lid after 5 years of daily use.  I order two new ones from the website as my local grocery market no longer carries this size container.  Quick delivery of an exceptional item!  Keep it 'Made in USA' and I'll keep buying.

I bought 2 of these 4 or 5 years ago. They are perfect for packing school lunches. They have lasted so well, just bought 2 more so I always have a clean one ready to go!

I bought several lunch sets and wanted more of the sandwich size.  I'm glad I could buy them separately.  Only downside: Containers become rigid when frozen and then can break if dropped while frozen.

My husband and I love having these to organize our refrigerator and weekly meals. I don't like that the divided containers can't stack. The other container sizes are ok-ish for stacking during storage.

However you only get two inserts and not four like I thought.   A larger one for a sandwich and a long smaller one.  I needed at least three and thought this one comes with four so that should work.  Not the case.  I had to remove the smaller divider from all the container to make two containers that I could actually use.  I have 4 containers and 6 sandwich dividers that I have sitting gathering dust.

I was totally disappointed when I received this item since the item is described among other things as below
"This food storage container has two drop-in dividing trays, allowing foods to be separated. In addition, one can be heated while keeping the other cold for added convenience. The larger container can also be used without the dividers for larger portions."
When I received the item, I was shocked to find it is in fact only a container and lid with only a single fixed in separator. The very feature described above being the reason I had ordered this item, I was forced to return it.

Very disappointed in these.  We have the older version with the red tops and they are airtight.  These green ones leak.  My wife makes my lunch and puts tomato slices and pickles in the containers.  When you squeeze them you can hear the air going in and out. I honestly expected better from Rubbermaid.
